Cosmo and Buddy were at the main room, as Ash and Goh told Professor Cerise about a Ho-Oh sighting.
"I see... There were Ho-Oh sightings, huh?" Professor Cerise said.
"Yeah!" Goh replied. "People were talking about it online!"
"Ho-Oh is deeply connected with the ancient folklore of the Johto Region." Professor Cerise said.
"I know! And it's supposed to be really hard to find!" Goh said.
"Yeah." Professor Cerise said. "Very few records of it remain. It's a Legendary Pokémon shrouded in mystery."
Their Pokémon were playing together.
"And that legend has finally shown itself!" Goh said.
"How interesting!" Cosmo said.
An image of Ecruteak City appeared.
"The sightings were all reported around Ecruteak City in Johto." Professor Cerise said.
"If we go there, we can meet Ho-Oh..." Ash said. "I've always wanted to battle Ho-Oh someday!"
"What?" Ren, Chrysa and Cosmo exclaimed.
"I wanna catch it!" Goh said.
"What?!" Ren, Chrysa and Cosmo exclaimed again.
Professor Cerise blinked, before smiling. "You two really are interesting!" He said. "Even when dealing with a Legendary Pokémon, you talk about battling and catching it!"
"That's how they are." Cosmo said.
"Cosmo, Goh, let's head straight for Ecruteak City!" Ash said.
"Yeah!" Goh said.
"All right!" Cosmo said.
Their Pokémon came over to them.
"Let's go!" They shouted.

The group are now in Ecruteak City, as the bus went away.
"We're here!" Ash said.
"Ecruteak City!" Goh said.
"It's very historical!" Cosmo said.
"Pikachu."
"Scorbunny."
"Gible."
"All right! Let's find Ho-Oh!" Goh said.
Ash went to look around, while Cosmo got his phone out.
"Ash! Goh! It looks like Bell Tower had the most sightings!" Cosmo told them.
"Nice work, Cosmo!" Goh said.
"Knew I could count on you!" Ash said. "Just you wait, Ho-Oh!"
Time Skip with the group running across a bridge
"I was looking into it, and Ho-Oh had a peculiar legend about it..." Goh said.
The bush rustle, and a Sentret came out.
"Sentret!"
Goh got out his Index.
"Sentret! Scout Pokémon! Normal type! It stands on its tail so it can see a long way!"
"All right, I'll catch it!" Goh said, as he got out a Pokéball. "Pokéball, go!" He shouted, as he threw it, and caught Sentret.
"Sentret's data will be added to the Index!"
