Chapter Twenty-Five: Yamper's Jealousy

[Vermillion City - Cosmo's Home - Living Area]

Today is a bright sunny day. It is also everyone's day off.

In the living room, is where Cosmo and his family, excluding Chloe, are currently.

Parker is playing on his Nintendo Switch that is connected to the TV.
Dexter, and Elliot the Dreepy were both sitting next to and watching Parker playing.

Cerise and Talia were both sitting at the dining table.
Cerise is reading his book.
Talia watches her youngest son playing.

Cosmo was by the sink, washing some dishes.
Buddy and Beau helps.

Both Buddy and Beau brought the dishes to Cosmo as he washes them.

"Thank you, you two." Cosmo thanks both Buddy and Beau, after he's done washing the dishes and is now drying his hands.
"Ga!" Buddy is happy.
"Eevee!" Beau is happy.

"It's sure great seeing Buddy all grown-up." Talia said, smiling. "Dexter, too."

"Yeah." Cosmo said, smiling at his Pokémon. "With the both of them now evolved, our home will be more lively as ever."

Suddenly Chloe came into the room, pouting. She went towards Talia and held her magazine up. "Mom, this illustration's yours, isn't it?" She asked.

Talia looks at the illustration. "Correct! You really are my daughter." She said, seeing the illustration, which is Chloe with her bedhair and Yamper.

"Isn't this me?" Chloe questioned, lowering the magazine and looking at Talia.

"You know I don't like my bedhair! Why would you put it in an illustration?!" Chloe asked, pouting.

"Oh, no, that's just a character! A completely fictional creation." Talia said. "It doesn't look like you at all." She said, a bit nervous.

Both Cosmo and Parker went towards Chloe.
Buddy, Beau and Dexter follows behind.

Both Buddy and Dexter stood next to Cosmo.
Beau is on Buddy's head.

"Lemme see." Parker said, grabbing the magazine from Chloe.
"Me too." Cosmo said, looking at the magazine, from behind Parker.

"It's Sis!" Parker said, recognizing Chloe.
"That's a cute illustration of Chloe, Mom!" Cosmo said, recognizing Chloe.
"Ga!"
"Eevee!"
"Drak!"
Buddy, Beau and Dexter also recognizes Chloe.

"See?!" Chloe questioned, looking at Talia.

"Oh, Cosmo and Parker..." Talia said, nervous.

Suddenly Yamper's barking could be heard outside.

"Oh, dear, it seems Yamper is calling." Talia said, standing up, avoiding her daughter's accusation. "What is it, Yamper?" She asked, going towards the backdoor and opening it.

[Outside Porch]

Talia screams a bit, backing away. Everyone looks outside.

Yamper is brining a fainted Pidove up the steps and towards the family. Also hitting the Pidove's head on the steps a few times.

"W-What? What's that in your mouth?!" Talia asked.

"W-Wait a second, Yamper!" Chloe said.

Cerise went out and crouches down. "Yamper, come here." He said, holding out his hand. 'There, there..." He said, as Yamper placed the Pidove above his hand.

"It's a Pidove." Cosmo said, seeing the Pokémon species.

"But..." Chloe said.
"It's not moving." Parker said.
