[Cerise's Laboratory - Inside]
The snowfall arrives in Vermillion City. Both Cosmo and Cerise were checking the system as it has been broken due to the weather.
"Good morning!" Both Ash and oh greeted, as they came into the room.
"Good morning, you two." Cosmo greeted, with a smile.
Buddy, Pikachu, Scorbunny, and Yamper were talking with each other.
"Oh, good morning." Cerise greeted, frowning. "The heavy snowfall is causing some malfunctions in our systems." He informed both Ash and Goh.
"Dad decided to close the institute for a few days while getting the systems fixed doing some maintenance." Cosmo said.
"System maintenance?" Goh asked.
"What? The institute's closed?!" Ash exclaimed. "Where are we gonna get food?!" He asked, worried.
Goh sweat-drops looking at Ash. "That's what you're worried about?" He asked.
"I'm sorry about this." Cerise apologized. "It would be easier for us if you went home in the meantime." He said.
[Ash and Goh's Room]
Inside of both Ash and Goh's room. Cosmo and Buddy were there.
Cosmo was asked by Cerise to help both Ash and Goh with packing their belongings as they will be staying back at their home for a while.
"Yeah! See you!" Goh said, he nodded and ended the call.
Scorbunny was tending to the Cascoon.
"You have to tell your mom that you're coming home?" Ash asked, both him and Pikachu looked towards Goh.
"Yeah. Her and Dad are both really busy with work, so I'd rather not bother them by coming home out of nowhere." Goh said, he went towards his backpack and check to see if he has his stuff.
"Really... What do they work with?" Ash asked.
"If I'm correct, your parents runs a company together, right?" Cosmo asked, he was helping Ash making sure he has his stuff.
Buddy was standing next to him.
"Right!" Goh said. "Dad's a system engineer, and Mom's a programmer. Whenever systems break, like what's going on with the institute right now, people like Mom and Dad get called in to deal with it. It's real tough." He explained.
"Pika?" Pikachu is curious.
"Oh. I don't really get it, but it does sound tough..." Ash said, with question marks floating around him.
"Well, I guess for Ash it is difficult for you to understand." Cosmo said.
"Gible." Buddy agrees.
Goh looks at Scorbunny. "Scorbunny. My family lives in an apartment, so behave." He told it.
"Scor!" Scorbunny jumps a bit, smiling.
"I know. I should get them something!" Goh said.
"Good idea!" Cosmo said, smiling.
"Gible!" Buddy smiled.

It is now the next day. Cosmo was walking with both Ash and Goh.
