We sat there for a few minutes and then Blaise stood up.

"You coming?" He asked.

"Uh, yeah. I have to go to the garden." I replied.

"I'll walk with you." He said and I stood up.

We walked out of the hall together. While we were on our way he was constantly looking around. When I noticed he gave me a quick smile and then looked forward.

We walked into the garden, nobody was there. That until Theo ran over to us.

"Hey y/n. I had to tell you there's a change of plans, you have to go to the common room. I'll walk with you." Theo said.

"Uhm, ok. Bye Blaise." I said and turned around to walk with Theo.

He just looked forward.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked and stopped walking.

"Nothing, Draco just asked me to tell you to meet him in the common room. I know nothing." He replied and we started walking again.

Once we were into the common room, a few second- and third-years were all staring at me.

"Hey y/n." I heard Pansy said as she stood up from a couch where she sat reading a book.

"Hey." I replied, confused.

"I need to talk to you. Astronomy tower?" She asked.

"But I'm here to meet-" I got cut off my Theo.

"It sounds urgent, I'll tell him you're a little late." Theo said.

Pansy and I walked towards the astronomy tower.

"Pansy what's wrong?" I asked.

"I just need to talk about Blaise. About the yule ball and all." She said and we continued walking.

She walked so fast I could barely keep up with her. I ran after her. I saw Hermione walking with Ron. She shot me a confused look. I shrugged.

When we walked the stairs in the astronomy tower we finally slowed down.

I caught my breath for a moment.

"You okay?" Pansy asked.

"Yeah just.. a little out of breath. Merlin, you walk fast." I said.

She laughed.

"Wait, go upstairs. I'm gonna get something really quick and I'll be back before you know." She said and ran down the stairs.

Huh?! I walked all the way up here just to be left alone again?

I hesitated for a moment, but then walked upstairs and when I was finally upstairs I saw... Draco?

"Oh sorry, Pansy said I should go here and wait for her. It was urgent. I knew you wanted to talk in the common room but Theo said he would tell you I was going to come a little later." I explained.

He burst out laughing. "You really believe anything someone tells you, don't you?" He asked.

I shot him a confused look.

"Y/n. I asked them to do all that." He said.

I was even more confused than before.

He noticed I still didn't get it. "Come here." He said.

I walked over to him. "I asked them to do all that, so I had enough time to come up here and prepare myself a little. But I needed Blaise's help so he was the first one to take you somewhere." He explained.

I laughed. "Prepare for what?"

He rolled his eyes. Right before I even had the chance to say something he kissed me.

"Will you be my date to the Yule Ball?" He asked.

"You know, you could've just asked me that at dinner." I joked.

He hit my shoulder playfully. "Well?"

"Of course."
