After the battle, Draco and I had bought a small apartment. I followed my dream and opened a shop in Diagon Alley with all kind of supplies for students.

I was now very good befriended with the Weasley twins. Their shop was only a few shops away from mine. They had helped me a lot with building everything up.

It was a Sunday evening. We were spending the evening with some of our friends. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, Neville, Luna and even Pansy, Blaise and Theo were there. Even though not everyone got along during our times at Hogwarts, we always had a fun evening.

We did this every month. We sat outside and watching the sunset while we talked and basically just had fun together.

"Hey Y/n, you want a drink?" Ginny asked.

"Oh yes, pour me one." I answered. Ginny laughed. She poured me a glass of wine and handed it over to me.

"Hey guys, we wanted to tell you something." Ron said as he put his arm around Hermione's waist.

"We are engaged." Hermione said with a smile on her face face.

Everyone started congratulating them.

I walked over to Hermione.

"Congratulations." I smiled and hugged her.

"Thank you." She said and hugged me back.

"So, how does it feel?" I asked.

"It feels pretty good." She smiled.

"I knew you two would be a thing since I saw you the first day at Hogwarts." I said.

We laughed.

Later that evening, when the sun had disappeared and the stars were coming out, we were all sitting with each other. We were drinking and talking about many things.

I felt Draco's hand in mine. He stood up and pulled me up too. "Excuse us." He said.

We walked further away from them. They could still see us, but not hear us.

"Hey, what's going on." I asked, looking back at our friends and then at Draco.

He didn't respond. He just stared at me. A bright and happy smile on his face.

A few seconds later he started talking. "Y/n, I've known you for almost all of my live. I love you so much. I can't imagine where I'd be without you. I want to spend every other second I have left with you." He said.

Then, he dropped down on one knee and pulled out a small box. He opened it and it revealed a silver ring with a small diamond.

I put my hand on my mouth as I started tearing up.

"Y/n, will you marry me?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yes. Yes of course I want to marry you."

He put the ring on my finger and then he kissed me. I couldn't stop smiling.

"You continue to surprise me." I said. We smiled at each other and kissed once again.

We went back to our friends. When we were almost there they started cheering. I laughed.

They congratulated us.

"So, how does it feel?" Hermione asked.

"It feel pretty good." I laughed.

"I knew you two would be a thing since I saw you the first day at Hogwarts." She said.

We laughed.

This was, by far, the best evening of my live.
