The next morning we woke up by the sounds of the river flowing. I got out of the tent. I saw Hermione, who was tying a red scarf to a tree. Her eyes were red from crying. I put my hand on her shoulder. She held her bag and the locket in her hands.

Harry was standing behind us. Hermione reached out her hand. Then, we apparated. We were now on a hillside. Hermione walked away, she started sobbing. I walked towards her, while Harry started on the protective enchantments.

"Salvio Hexia."
"Protego Totalum."

"Hermione..." I said and hugged her from behind.

"I'm sorry." She cried.

"It's not your fault Ron left. He'll come back eventually." I said.

She turned around and hurried her head in my shoulder.

Later that night, we were sitting in the tent. It was cold. We wrapped ourselves in blankets.

Suddenly, the radio started playing again. Harry shook his head and reached out to turn it off. Until he realized a song was playing.

We smiled. We sat and listened quietly, until Harry stood up and reached his hand out to Hermione. They started dancing.

"Come on, Y/n." Harry said and reached out his hand to me.

I grabbed it, then the three of us were dancing together.

. . .

Hermione and I were sitting outside, wrapped in blankets.

Hermione had two books in her hand. She was looking between the Tales of Beedle the Bard and Spellman's Syllabary.

"Guys." We heard Harry say from inside the tent. He then walked outside.

"You were right. It's like you said. Snitches have flesh memories. But I didn't catch my first Snitch with my hand. I almost swallowed it." Harry said.

We watched the words.

"'I open at the close?'" Hermione said.

"What do you reckon it means?" I asked.

"I don't know." Harry said.

"Look, I've found something as well." Hermione said. She held one of the books in the light.

"I thought it was a picture of an eye, but now I don't think it is. It isn't a rune and it's not in Spellman's Syllabary either. And it's been inked in, somebody drew it, it isn't part of the book." Hermione said.

"Luna's dad was wearing that, at Bill and Fleur's wedding." I said.

"Why would someone have drawn it in a children's book?" Hermione asked.

We all went silent.

"I've been thinking. I want to go to Godric's Hollow. It's where I was born, it's where my parents died." Harry said.

"And it's exactly where You-Know-Who will expect you to go. Because it means something to you." Hermione said.

"But it means something to him too. You-Know-Who nearly died there. Wouldn't that be just the kind of place he'd hide a Horcrux?" Harry asked.

"My aunt lives there. Maybe we can pay her a quick visit too. She can maybe give us some food and other things we might need. I've had contact with her over summer break." I said.

"It's dangerous. But I have to admit, recently even I've been thinking we might have to go. I think it's possible something else is hidden there. The sword. If Dumbledore didn't want it falling into the Ministry's hands, but wanted you to find it, what better place to hide it than the birthplace of the founder of Gryffindor himself?" Hermione said.
