A few days later I found myself in the Malfoy Manor for a Christmas dinner.

Narcissa found out about me being Draco's girlfriend and immediately I got a letter from her inviting me for dinner.

Me and Draco went there together. My father was invited too, but he would only come there that evening and then go back to Hogwarts.

I came in the Malfoy Manor for as long as I can remember, but this time felt different. It was like starting all over, except we already knew everything about each other.

I was getting myself ready for the dinner. My father would arrive any minute now.

I put on a short black dress with some silver jewelry. I put my hair up in a bun.

Then I went downstairs. Draco was standing there in his black suit. Narcissa and Lucius where at the door. When I looked in their way I saw my father.

"Dad!" I said and walked over to him.

"Hey y/n." He said and pulled me into a hug.

We made our way to the table, which was full of all kinds of different food.

"So, y/n. How are you doing?" Lucius asked. It was clear that he didn't know what to do in this situation.

"I'm doing fine, thank you. How are you doing?" I replied.

"Yeah, I'm doing fine." He answered.

A silence fell over the table. We were all just quietly eating while we sometimes made eye contact with each other.

After a few minutes I looked next to me, where Draco was sitting. He looked back at me.

Then we bursted out laughing. Draco's parents shot us a confused look. My father just looked at us, no expression on his face.

"I'm sorry, this is really awkward. Yes, y/n is my girlfriend. You all knew that. But she came here since she was 4. You know everything about her so let's just talk like we normally do." Draco said.

I smiled at his parents. Narcissa returned the smile, Lucius wasn't looking at me.

Lucius had a conversation with my father about Hogwarts.

Narcissa stood up. "Y/n, you want to help me?"

I nodded and stood up. Draco still sat at the table when I walked out of the room, after Narcissa.

"What should I do?" I asked when we arrived in the kitchen.

"Nothing, dear. I just wanted to talk to you." She said.

"Oh." I replied.

"How's everything going between you and Draco?" She asked.

"It's fine. Yeah, we're doing great actually. He's been really nice and honest lately." I replied.

"That's great. When anything goes wrong, you know what to do right? You can just send me a letter or come visit me. I'm always here for you, even when Draco and you aren't dating or close or anything." She explained.

"Thank you, I really appreciate it." I said.

She pulled me into a hug.

"Draco loves you. You're his favorite person. And I know, because I am his mother. And I can see how different he acts around you than when he's with his friends. He cares about you deeply. And I know you do too." She said.

I blushed.

We walked back to the table, where Lucius was still talking to my father and Draco was still sitting at the table, now playing with his wand.

He sat up straight when he saw me. "Hey."

"Hey." I said.

We talked for another while. Then we went to another room and sat down on the couch there. Since it was Christmas, we all had bought presents for each other.

From Narcissa & Lucius I got two new books. My father also gave me a book, but he also gave me a very nice bookmark. Draco gave me a necklace and bracelet. They both had the same silver chain. The necklace had a locket. I decided not to open it yet. The bracelet had a small stone in the same color as the locket.

After we all had opened our presents, it was time for my father to go.

It was already late, so Draco's parents also decided to go and sleep.

Draco and I were currently sitting on his bed.

"I love the presents you got me." I said.

"You shouldn't open the locket now. You have to open it when you think you need it the most." He explained.

Even though I was very curious what was inside, I listened to him.

After a while we started getting tired. I got up to go to the guest room (which was practically my room, according you Narcissa) and sleep. But I felt Draco's hand in mine and he pulled me back in the bed.

"Where are you going?" He asked, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"To bed, I'm getting tired." I answered.

"But you're in bed." He said.

"Yeah, but it's your bed." I said.

"So?"

"So..."

The next morning I woke up and felt an arm around me. I opened my eyes and took a deep breath in. I smelled Draco's strong cologne.

I softly turned around, trying not to wake Draco up. I buried my face in his chest. Then I felt his strong arms pull me more towards him.

"Good morning." He said with his morning voice. Merlin, I could listen to his morning voice all day long.

"Good morning." I whispered and put my arm over his body.

"Slept well?" He asked.

"Yes." I said.

A few minutes later he released his arms and got up. "Come on, wake up. We can't lay in bed all day." He said and left the room to take a shower.

I grunted, then got up and walked over to Draco's closet. I grabbed a random t-shirt and pulled it over my head.

Then I went to the guest room and grabbed a pair of jeans out of my suitcase.

When I was done doing my hair and all, I walked back to Draco's room.

I opened the door and when I walked inside I saw Draco. He was wearing a pair of jeans, but no t-shirt. He was obviously surprised by me walking in.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry." I said, but I was still standing there looking at him.

He laughed. "You like what you see?"

I blushed.

Then he got on a t-shirt and we walked down. He had already noticed I stole one of his shirts, and he said I should keep it.

[a/n] so sorry for not posting much lately. i was on vacation and i didn't write much so i had to read the story over again and then i made up a little plan of what i'm going to write soon.
i also watched a lot of tiktoks and read some wattpad story's for inspiration.
