Nicholas's POV

Its been 2 hell of a months since I've had the chance to see her, touch her, hear her voice

These painful months have taught me patience, never in my life have i yearned for someone so badly- I don't know what she was doing to me

How could a simple girl be able to have that effect on me, i was vulnerable without her

"Nic-" Carlos entered the house calling me but stopped short looking around the house

"woah what happened here" he said looking at the mess i had created

"What's this? Books?" He looked at me shocked and i shrugged

Yeah so what? I read them to miss her less :)

"okay Romeo you really need to clean this dumpster of a house up" Carlos spoke adopting a bossy tone and i looked at him to remind him who the boss was

"Yeah I'm shivering from the fear ohmygod" he spoke sarcastically and i rolled my eyes at him

"I've known you my whole life, your stare doesn't do the effect on me. Now clean up" he spoke and i sighed as i got up

We spent a good few hours cleaning up until it was mid day

Carlos left and i headed for a shower

I came outside and suddenly felt different, all my yearning seemed to go away and i kept a comforting hand on my heart that seemed to be breathing louder with every passing second

Suddenly the moment where i offered her the deal flashed before my eyes and i found myself walking into the memory lane

I snapped out of it as i looked around still in my room

something was wrong, i could feel it

I quickly changed and headed out- i guess i really needed fresh air

I drove by the ocean and it helped me calm my mind. I sat there facing the calm waves as wind played with my hair and lightened my soul

Deciding to have something, i drove to a nearby cafe that surprisingly turned out to be the café i met Isabella at and offered her to be part of my messed up game

Convincing myself to stay, i ordered a coffee and took a seat outside waiting for it patiently

I pulled out my phone as i scrolled through it, not glancing at my surroundings until my coffee was served

I glanced my head up to thank the waiter when i thought i saw a familiar someone standing on the far corner of the street

My heart skipped a beat as i caught a glimpse of the person and i immediately stood up

I ran towards the end of the street with immense hope in my heart

As soon as i reached the end, i looked around to nothing

Not even a single soul was there as i found myself surrounded by the autumn trees and falling leaves

My heart sunk, i let out a depressed sigh as i realized it wasn't her.

"we finally meet again" a familiar voice spoke to me and i froze in my tracks.

The familiar scent reached my nostrils and i turned back around to look at her

I looked at her as she looked back at me with a grin on her face
