Filthy Little Secret

Chris' POV

"What secret?" I asked him. "What are you talking about?"

I saw Blake, standing there, firmly, like this secret have proofs. I dont know why my heart beats so loudly. What if that will become a hindrance between me and Jake? Now that we are reunited once more. I will take the risk for our relationship.

"T-tell me! W-what is i-it?" My voice trembled as those words came out from my mouth then I feel hands clutching me from the back. Cold hands. It was Jake.

He looked at Blake and said, "What is it that you want to tell me?"

But Blake didnt make a move or even just a twitch, he was standing just smiling back at us. But his eyes, its very unreadable, I thought it was pity but then it was as dark as emotionless.

Then Blake spoke, in his cold voice, colder than vampires, "Do you really want me to tell you the truth Jake? If I tell it maybe the two of you will walk, not in the same path again." And he grins. Those demonic grin.

Then my heart is just thundering my chest, who wanted to explode. Why am I so nervous? Why am I so scared of that secret?

"Just tell him! I know what you did to him. You monster!" Jake shouted but to me it sounded like a whisper.

Then, Blake laughed as Jake's tears fell from his eyes. I dont know, Im so confused. I really am confused.

"Just give Chris to us, and we will never meet again and by the way Jake, very good, you now know that secret." He said to Jake.

Will Jake gave me to Blake? Will he? And how Jake know what is that secret? While I was thinking. Jake launched at Blake.

He was fighting him. Jake seems so much stronger because of his...his angry... I saw his face...he is angry... and crying.

He punched Blake in the face, and he cannot fight back. He is down. He didnt move. I thought Blake is dead.

"Is h-he?" I squeaked with fear, having the thought that Jake killed the guy.

"No, he's not." Jake said. Cold as stone.

"Tell me Jake, what is the thing that you both are talking about?" I asked him.

"I'll find a way Chris. I dont like you to be a monster like us."

"J-Jake, what are you talking about I cant understand you. Monster like us? What d-do you mean a-about that?" I asked him.

"I cant tell Chris. Just trust me on this, okay?" He said but I didnt answer. He repeat again, "Okay?"

But I was thinking and I just answered, "Yes Jake, I trust you."

And we both walked out from that place holding hand on hand.

As we were on the streets, and the only light that beams us is from the lamp post a few meter away from us. He stopped walking and I looked at him. I saw him looking up the sky.

"15 more days." He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked him back.

"15 more days till the moon is full. And I know they'll come back for you and get you again."

"Why would they need me? Im only just a teenager who lives in a cranky old apartment and have a baking job downtown under the management of Steve." I said, furiously defending myself from what I dont understand. I want to cry, I want to kill myself, I want to scream so loud until my voice is gone. But for now I cant, I want Jake to see me stronger than he looked at me before.

"You are wrong." And I stopped thinking.

I look at him.

"To me you are the most important person in my life. You lead me to the right thing. You teach me how to live normally like you. You made me human even though Im not but you made me feel it. Chris, I love you and that's all I know. No one will hurt when I am around cause you are mine and I am yours."

After hearing those I just fell into my knees and cried. He got down to his knees to and hugged me.

I feel more comfortable, stronger and I feel in love again once more. How could a cold-hearted turned into very warm. How I wish I could stay with him forever.

"I love you Jake, truly madly and deeply from the bottom of my heart, and I wont last a day without you having near me."

"I love you more baby." And he wiped my tears and kissed me.

A kiss of true love, a kiss from my ever after, nothing can stop us, even if an evil queen or a wicked witch or anything come between us. Nothing's gonna stop our love.

He stand up first and he held his hand to help me stand up.

"What do you want?" He asked me.

"Like what?" I asked him again.

"I know how to cook noodles." He flashed his contagious smile at me.

"Really?" I said excitedly at him.

"Yeah but only an instant noodle. Thats the easiest." He laughed.

"Its alright, I will appreciate everything you will give to me. I want a Spicy Beef Teriyaki Noodle."

"Then, lets walk home fast and have your food served."

And we walked away never turning back to our past.
