Wait for Me

Jake's POV

The monster, it is still here.

The monster's still alive. Breathing. Not dead, well he's dead but he is still moving.

I cant believe it. This is a discovery. But this will endanger the world if he gets out from here. I need a plan on how to get the formula and get out of here without being noticed.

Hw is standing there in his very own cage.

But his stance, ready to fight. And really guarding the office, where he was once brought to life, where his master worked for days.

I need to find the formula.

I need to find it to heal my Chris.

To make him human again.

Chris wait for me.

Chris' POV

I lie still on this bed of mine. Waiting for Jake to come back.

Questions comes through my mind, questions even I couldnt answer. I was once a normal guy, a wimpy and nevertheless a guy with no friends to call but now I am a werewolf by my mere mistake.

Will Jake can get the formula to save me?

If not, will we be enemies? Or star-crossed lovers?

Will I hunt for flesh?

"Whats happening?" I asked myself

Then I just closed by my eyes and fell to that deep sleep.

Jake's POV

I crawl down silently. Still the monster hasnt move yet.

I went to the desk nothings there and search for the drawers to just see if there is something worthy can be found but nothing came out.

Then I noticed that there is a box in the cage where the Frankenstein's monster is holding.

Maybe that was it. That is the montser's guarding, not the office but the box. Maybe there I will find his notes for the formula.

This time I will do it right. To save Chris.

But how? What should I do? If the monster catch me, Im sure I will be good as dead.

It's now or never.

I will try to distract it with what he hates the most. Fire.

Thank God I'm a smoker, that's why I broight my lighter with me. So, I draw it from my jacket's side pocket then brought it out and stood uo.

The monster seems not to be alarmed, then I started to walk towards it. And when I know that I am now close enough I noticed its body, its enormous more like a giant. Stitches around him and it feels really strange.

I walked towards him and extended my arm just to the thought that I am trying to get the box and he started to grunt. I withdraw my hand back.

I brought out my lighter and started it to light, words came out from my mouth, "Give me the box or Ill destroy you."

Thats the most stupidest thing Ive done and I felt like an idiot doing that.

But what I get in return is a scream of terror, a scream who is ready to kill someone just to protect something or in other word a box.

Ready or not I need to be fast on here. As it stood up standing at 7 feet. It slowly open the iron cage with it bare hands, slowly and got out from there.

"Im dead" I told myself.

Then what I did is run and hide from him.

I just need to make it move away from the cage. Get the box, then ran away.

Perfect.

I ran towards him, attempting to get into the cage and it released a one blow from its left hand, slow punch but it will deal a strong damage, but I am fast enough to dodge it. Sliding underneath his wide legs. Then entered the cage, got the box. But too late, it looked at me like my bones will break if I dont put the box back. But there's no time to get back. I jumped unto the monster then climbed its tall body and leaped over him.

I ran towards the stairs but it is following me. The monster started to throw punches that will break my bones and even the castle if thats the case.

And as I ran through this tiring stairways, I thought about the people outside if they will see the monster, freak out and also some will be hurt.

I stop running.

"Face me."

I told it but it never did stopped from getting me.

I open my lighter again but this stop the monster, " I need this. I need the antidote. I need this to cure my love." I talked to hi. As if he understands.

But it was listening, "Do you really want to destroy your home for just this box? Do you really want people see you again and be afraid of you? If mor, trust me, I will come back for you and take you from here. I know its been a long time that you are alone and sad. But if you promise that stay here for a while, Ill come back for you and you will never be alone again."

In my amazement, it nod and turning its back and move back to its cage.

Im impressed. Power of words.

"I promise. Ill get you back."

Then I ran straight the door and boom free at last.

Now I need to see it whats inside the box to see the ingredients for the formula.
