The Fight

Chris's POV

I am running.

I am running away.

I am running fast as I could.

But from who?

I stopped running and look at my back.

I see red eyes.

Red eyes floating in this vast dark.

I dont know where to go.

I turn my back again and saw them. A familiar look, pale skin, teeth so sharp.

Vampires.

Then someone jump to me, fangs out ready to kill.

It was Jake.

Then I woke up. Hands in the air. Sweaty forehead and shirt. It was nighttime and the moon is shining bright.

And I saw my mom's face on the other side of the bed. Looking very worried.

"Bad dream?" she asked me.

"Yes." My head throbbing hard. "What happened?"

I just remember that moment that my chest ache and everything went black. 

"Sophie found you lying on the floor, groaning and cold sweats all over you. I saw you and she helped me carry you here." mom explained to me.

I held my chest, it feels lighter now.

"Where's Sophie?" I asked.

"Sleeping in her room." Then she stood up and gave me glass of water.

And when I saw that water, I feel thirsty like I was dried up to death. My mom handed me the water and I gulped it to my desire.

I sat down from my bed and then I feel a little ache on my head.

"Dont force yourself, I cant see you getting hurt. It hurts me more."

"Mom, Im fine, look at me." I smiled to her then she sat down on the bed to hug me.

"I cant lose you, Sophie and you. You are my precious treasures." She kissed me on the forehead and I felt warm, I felt being loved not just any love, a mother's love.

Then a window crash, and we heard Sophie screaming.

We rushed unto her room just to see a bed without Sophie in it. I smelled something. Werewolves.

Checking the room I saw the stone that destroyed her window, there's a paper wrapped all over it.

And it was an address. And I know what to do.

"Mom, I know where Sophie is. I'll go find her." But she cant move or say anything. I know she is still shock.

I left while my mom still not moving from where she stands.

Jake's POV

I cant talk to Chris about this. I need to keep this fight a secret for now. He'll be worried.

I went to the address that they've given to me. But not attacking, I am careful right now because I am at their lair.

I need to finish it before this day ends or else my Chris will be a werewolf forever. Forever. Thinking about that word makes me sick. How could i love him forever?

We were happy for the past few weeks and now I am here travelling alone to save him. To save my love. This is the worst feeling that Ive ever felt for the longest of time.

Phobe rings.

Its King. I wonder what he wants to say since he know I am busy.

"Jake. I called Chris's home I talked to his mom." King said with a voice of exhaustion and nervousness

"What did she said?" I asked calming him down so that he can find his breath.

"Gone." he paused. "Someone broke into their house and took Sophie away. Chris followed them, his mom couldnt do anything she is still in shock. I sent  someone to look after her mother."

Shocked. I didnt speak.

"Jake, they are dead serious in killing you."

I ended the phone then focused in travelling.

Random moments of our moments together. I dont know what to do. We were happy. We are happy. This is all my fault. If I just left him there, we shouldnt have met. He will never have a problem like this.

Fuck.

I dont know what to do.

Chris. Chris. Chris. Chris Im sorry. Chris I love you. Chris forgive.

That's when I realized tears fell down on my cheeks, blurring my vision, and making my voice hoarse. Please dont take him away. Leave him alone.

Chris, no matter what.

I will find you.
