Back in the main room under the prying eyes of the others, Eddie put the newspaper on a table.

"Check this out. The War Zone", he said, pointing at a bigger ad for an ammunition store. The logo looked a little too American for Matilda's taste. "I've been there once. It's huge. They got everything you need for, uh... well, killing things, basically." Robin scoffed, but Matilda couldn't tell if she was unimpressed or just scared.

"You think fake Rambo has enough guns there? Is that a grenade? I mean, how is any of this legal?" Matilda was about to agree, but Eddie cynically shook his head.

"Well, lucky for us it is, so... This— This place is just far enough outside of Hawkins. As long as we steer clear of main roads, we oughta be able to avoid cops and, uh, angry hicks."

"If we're trying to avoid angry hicks, maybe we shouldn't go to some store called the War Zone", Erica suggested with a doubtful look.

"Normally, I'd agree, but we need the weapons. So, I think it's worth the risk", Nancy mumbled not sounding entirely convinced of the idea. Erica rolled her eyes, but didn't contradict her.
"Me too", Lucas admitted, not sounding very pleased either.

"But is it worth the time? It'll take all day to bike there and back", Matilda asked, trying to fit into the conversation. She found she contributed way too little to the whole cause and she intended to change that.
Immediately, Eddie turned to her, looking confused. But the sly smile on his lips gave him away.

"Who said anything about bikes?"
"What— You got some car we don't know about?", Steve asked with raised brows. Eddie's smile grew wider.
"Well, it's not exactly a car, Steve. And it's not exactly mine, but, uh, yeah. It'll do." Matilda cocked her head and was about to ask about whatever stupid idea he was planning out, but he turned to Max before she could say anything.

"Hey, Red, uh, you got a ski mask or a bandanna, something like that?" Max frowned at first, but then even she slightly smiled.
"Something like that", she mumbled and left for a moment. Eddie raised a brow as he waited for her return.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?", Matilda asked after a while, gently nudging his hip. He cocked his head and smiled at her.
"Best idea I've had in a while." Max returned, some sort of mask in her hand. Lukas and Dustin grinned at each other and Eddie raised a brow.
"Michael Meyers? Girl, you got some weird taste", he stated and snatched it out of her hands. Matilda couldn't help but chuckle when he put it on.
"Don't laugh, you're disrespecting my drip."
"Sorry, sorry."

Eddie led them outside and around the trailer, hiding behind everything he could find on the way. He made them run through half of the trailer park, looking like complete idiots. Not wearing this mask and walking like a normal person probably would've drawn less attention to him.
