AURORA BENSON sat on one of the bar stools at the icehouse, she didn't have anything else planned for this afternoon, so she figured she'd keep Jack and Joey some company at the icehouse. Her hand was shaky as she placed the small cup of butter on top of the tower. The three of them continued to do so for a while until it collapsed down.

Jack and Joey fell into their own conversation, a conversation that she didn't want to be a part of. Aurora messed with the bracelet around her wrist and smile lightly at the memory of her and Pacey's kiss. It was perfect. All she could think about was their kiss underneath the moonlight by the water.

"Excuse me," an annoying voice spoke up from behind them. "Could we get a couple of menus over here, please?" Joey turned to look at the two of them, both just have her a small smile before she grabbed two menus and walked over to the table. "Uh, preferably a couple without yesterday's special rotting on them."

Joey wiped off the menu on her shirt before she tossed it back down on the table. "So, why'd you bring me to this dive?" Chris spoke up. Aurora glared at the two of them with annoyance. She actually thought Chris was decent after the study session, but apparently not.

"Because we have to discuss strategy in private and you can always count on this place being deserted," Abby looked up and smiled at the girl. Joey rolled her eyes and turned to walk away. "The service here is worse than the food."

"So, your content on letting those two represent your class?" Jack questioned.

"They're not the only ones running, Jack."

Aurora's head perked up to the conversation. She looked over at Joey with a curious look. "Wait, Jo. Were you thinking about running for student president?" she questioned, leaning her elbow on the counter, her chin rested in her palm.

"Well, Andie asked me too," Joey informed the brunette. "But I don't think I'm going to do it. I mean there are plenty of other people running that could easily beat Abby and Chris," she stated.

Jack scoffed a laugh, "oh, please, Kenny Reiling? That guy has no chance. Where's your sense of civic duty?"

"I don't know," Joey shrugged. "I guess I've just never really been the type to get involved in school activities."

"Well, I mean you weren't really into art until recently," Jack said. "People change."

"Yeah, but student government is a huge leap, Jack," Joey said, which only caused Madelyn to sigh and sit on the bar stool again and rest her elbow on the counter. "I mean, putting yourself out there for public scrutiny."

"Yeah, but you should run, Joey," Jack encouraged. "Andie needs you. You know, she's knew. It's going to be hard for her to get votes, but you- you have this amazing girl next door quality. Besides, this is your chance to make a difference, for your talents to rise to the occasion. Don't limit yourself, Joey, you're- you're a born leader."

"More like born loser," Abby scoffed from behind them. Aurora glared over at the girl with an annoyed look. "You actually think that you'd have any chance running against me? Get real. You throw the trash out; you don't vote it in."

"Abby back off," Joey spat.

"Why, the truth hurts?" Abby asked. "Well, if you want to embarrass yourself and your entire family even further than nature intended, by all means, throw your amazing girl next door quality into the ring. Hey, what's one more disappointment in an already meager, depressing existence?"

Aurora's eyes widened as Joey poured the pitcher of water on Abby's head. A laugh escaped from her mouth, her and Jack looked over at each other with the same shocked jaw-drop expression.

"You're dead," Abby muttered before she stormed out of the icehouse, Chris following out behind her.

"Tell Andie, I'm in."

AURORA AND PACEY were in the Benson girl's bedroom. Dawson and Jen have been MIA, and Joey, Andie, and Lucas were too busy with the campaign. The two were sat beside each other on the bed, the tv played faintly in the background as their eyes were glued onto the screen, but occasionally took glances at one another.

But the Witter boy was tired of it. He didn't want to kiss and act like nothing had happened. He sat up more and leaned his back against her bed post. "Rory, we got to talk," he spoke up. Aurora knew where this conversation was going. She nodded and sat up more as well, her back leaned up against the bed post.

"What are we?" Pacey asked, straight up. "I mean, one minute we almost kiss, and then we're back to being just friends. But then we actually kiss and now, we're back to friends again?" he asked, confusingly. "I don't- I don't get it."

Aurora faced the boy, "I don't know," she confessed. "I mean do you want to be just friends?" she asked. "Because if I'm telling you the truth, I don't. I don't want to be just your friend, Pace. I feel a connection with you, that a friend shouldn't feel with each other."

Pacey's eyebrow rose at the response. A smile creeped onto his face, "I thought you were never going to figure out your love for me, Benson," he teased the brunette.

Aurora scoffed a laugh and grabbed a pillow, whacking the side of his arm with it. "As if," she replied. "Don't let that sentence get into your head. We wouldn't want your ego to get too much bigger, would we?"

"Would that really be a problem?" Pacey questioned.

The two smiled at each other as their gaze stayed into each other's eyes. The two of them leaned in and without hesitation, they closed the gap between their lips. Each time they kissed, it felt like no one else existed. They felt safe in each other's presence.

The kissed ended because Pacey pulled away, "what are we now, Benson?"

"Well, I don't think we're exactly friends anymore, Witter," Aurora replied with a smile.

"Do you think you could do me the honors and be my girl?" Pacey questioned.

"Of course," Aurora smiled.

"Good," he replied, "but I wasn't going to exactly take 'no' as an answer."
