AURORA WALKED along the dock. The breeze was nice, and it was the perfect temperature. She was currently on her way to meet up with Haley, it was time she told the girl how she had truly felt, and hopefully if she doesn't hate her by now, it will end well, and the two could be happy together.

Her nerves rose up as she walked up to the Monroe girl. Haley turned to face her, her arms were crossed, but a small smile was plastered on her face. "Hey, hales," she greeted as she stopped in front of her.

"Hey, Rora," Haley greeted back.

"Um," Aurora took in a deep breath. "I'm sorry for the last time we hung out. I mean, I didn't want to make it seem like I didn't want to kiss you, because truth is, I did. I just didn't know what I was at the time, but I thought about it, and I understand now. I like you, Haley, a lot, and I don't mean as a friend."

A small smile creeped onto Haley's face as she looked at the girl. "Wait, are you serious?" she asked. "Because I don't want you to feel force to do this, just because you feel bad for me. You can tell me the truth."

Aurora sighed before she placed her hand on the side of Haley's face and pressed her lips, softly against hers. Haley was taken back by the kiss, her eyes were widened, as Aurora pulled away, "does that answer your question?"

"You might have to answer one more time." Aurora smiled before she leaned in once again, their lips connected, and it was perfect. It felt like no one else was in the world, and she felt comfortable kissing her.

LUCAS HAD sat in his bedroom on his bed, Aurora had laid on her stomach at the foot of bed, and Haley laid beside her. Right now, Lucas had been telling the two of them about what had happened with Andie at the party. "So, afterward, we were talking after I had dropped Joey home, and, uh, she pretty much told me she wasn't over me, and then, we almost kissed, but it was wrong, I knew it, but part of me wanted too."

Aurora frowned, "Lucas, I know how much you love her, and it isn't going to be easy to get over, Andie, but you have too," she told him. "She cheated on you with another guy, okay? I don't want to see you get hurt again."

Lucas shrugged, "but what if she never cheats on me again, what if she's changed?" he questioned. "I mean, she knew it was wrong for her and Mark to hookup, what if she learned her lesson?"

"It doesn't matter if she learned her lesson or not," Aurora exclaimed. "It doesn't excuse the fact that she did. If she knew it was wrong, she wouldn't have done it. I get she needed comfort or whatever, but if she had to rely on another guy for that, clearly you weren't meeting her expectation, and I'm sorry to say that, but maybe it's true," she stated. "Look, Andie is great as a person, but I just don't think she is right for a relationship."

"Listen, I agree with Aurora here," Haley spoke up. "I mean if she really did love you, she wouldn't have even considered being with another person, let alone sleep with them. You deserve better than that, and trust me, you'll find that someone one day, I just- I just don't think Andie is that someone."

Lucas looked down toward the bed as he thought about what she had just said. He signed before he pinched the bridge of his nose and looked up at the two girls. "I don't know, maybe you guys are right," he shrugged. "I'm just going to sleep on it, I guess, and I'll just see what happens with us along the way. Thanks anyways."

Aurora frowned, "no problem."

HALEY AND Aurora now laid in her bed. As the movie played faintly in the background, the two talked. "I just don't want to see my brother get hurt. I wish he would realize that there are other people in the world. People who aren't going to cheat on him. I mean, it's not like he's going to lose Andie forever, it's just they need some space apart, and time to go out with new people, before they consider being friends again."

Haley sighed as she turned her head to look at the girl. "I understand that you're afraid of your brother getting hurt again, but maybe he just needs to experience that, before he finally realizes the right thing to do, you know."

Aurora shrugged, "I guess," she simply replied. "I mean we tried to warn him, and he didn't care. So, maybe he should find out on his own, because clearly nothing else is going to help him," she stated.

"Exactly," Haley said, a small smile now formed on her face. "Now, could we forget about him? And focus on us, I don't know, maybe have some fun?" she asked.

Aurora smiled, "of course," she stated before leaned over toward the girl and pressed her lips softly against hers. Haley placed her hands on her waist and leaned deeper into the kiss. Aurora's hands found the away around her neck as they moved slowly in sync.

Haley was the first to pull away to take a breath. Aurora smiled at the girl as she did so. "When do you think we should at least tell our friends?" Haley asked, as she sat up a bit in the bed.

"I don't know," Aurora replied, "but I would like to be out with you. Don't get me wrong, the sneaking around is pretty fun, but I'd like to be out with you, and show that we're a couple, you know."

Haley nodded, "I agree," she replied. "Whenever you're ready, we'll tell them. No pressure."

Aurora smiled, "and this is why I like you so much."

"I try," Haley shrugged with a small smile rested on her face. Aurora chuckled at her antics before she placed a hand on the side of her cheek and pulled her in for a kiss, it was sweet, yet passionate, and in the moment, it was the best thing in the world for the both of them.
