BACK IN the ballroom, the two separate pairs were dancing again. Aurora and Haley swayed with each other, and Pacey and Joey seemed to have done a much better job than they did the other day. The pair smiled and laughed with each other as they did so. Her gaze over at them was broken when the teacher spoke up, "attention, everybody, looks like we have yet another set of delightful young people joining our class. Must be something in the air."

Applause erupted in the air. Aurora furrowed her eyebrows and looked over at the two new people, and it just so happened to be, Dawson and Jen. The music continued and the pairs were back to dancing. "And what, pray tell, are you two doing here?" Joey questioned the new incomers.

"Just enjoying the fine art of ball dancing," Jen replied.

"Didn't I say you two would be naturals?" the woman complimented. "Beautiful job, ladies," the woman looked at the two girlfriends. "Much better than these two, and they've been here all week, but you used to date, didn't you?" she questioned the two of them.

"Uh, not right now, okay?"

"I'm right, aren't I? You dated, it didn't work out," the woman continued. "But then you got past all of your issues, and now you actually trust each other, right? See, you can see that in your dancing. You can see that the trust is there."

"Now, these two on the other hand," the woman motioned over toward Pacey and Joey. "A whole different story. I mean, look at them. Look at their form. Look at the tension in their arms," she criticized.

"Okay, is there some sort of problem here?" Pacey snapped.

"Well, what did I say about rib cages touching?" the woman replied. "Can we do that?"

"No sorry."

"It's just not going to happen, alright?"

"Right. You see what I mean?" the woman stated. "See the hostility, the way they're wary with each other, not the mention the contact bickering and name-calling. Now, these two clearly are in the early stages of some screwball mating ritual."

Pacey chuckled in disbelief, "what?"

"Okay, you've got it all wrong, lady," Joey replied.

"Really, I do?"

"Oh, completely," Pacey scoffed.

"Actually, you could not be more wrong," Joey informed.

"Okay, there's enough sexual tension here to power a kiss reunion tour," the woman stated. "I can't remember the last time I saw dancing this bad," she informed, and glanced at Joey's shock face, "true."

Aurora scoffed out a laugh as the woman began to walk away, before she turned back to the new pair. "Okay, Dawson, Jen, why do you care so much about their little 'sexual tension' that isn't even real?" she questioned. "I mean, Dawson, I could kind of understand, but Jen? I mean, what is it?"

Jen scoffed, "what? No, I don't care. I was just interested into what she had to say about it because you two used to be together, you know. It was completely inappropriate to come over here and try to interpret our feelings for one another."

"Okay, let's take it from the top!"

"OKAY, PEOPLE, we're gonna play a little game," the woman announced as she stood up on the stage. "I want you to consider this musical partners instead of musical chairs, okay?" she explained to them. She stepped off the small stage and began to partner random people up together.
