TODAY WAS the day that Lucas Benson was going to be able to see Andie Mcphee again. He had been extremely nervous to see the girl, at lunch, he was going to cut the rest of school, and head up there. Aurora walked side by side with her brother as she listened to his plan to see Andie. "Do you need someone to go with you?"

Lucas shook his head, "actually no," he told the girl. "I asked Joey, and she said she'd go with me," he informed. "I figured that it would be a nice way to take her mind off of everything, and prevent her from seeing Dawson for a few hours, you know," he shrugged.

Aurora nodded but was shocked to hear the Potter girl had been going. She hadn't been talking to anyone lately, but apparently Lucas was the exception. "Joey? Wow, that's a surprise," she commented.

Lucas nodded, "I know, I was surprised when she actually talked to me too."

"Well, you two have fun," Aurora told him. "I would've gone with you, because you know me, I love road trips. But I don't think I could handle being in a car by myself alone with you. I'd probably throw myself out of the car on the highway in the first hour," she exclaimed, jokingly.

Lucas scoffed as he looked over at the girl, "I'd probably crash the car if I had to go on a road trip with you for that long," he replied. "Why do you think I asked Joey to go with me first and not you?"

Aurora rolled her eyes, "whatever. I gotta get to class. Have fun on your trip, Luke."

AFTER MANY failed attempts to try and talk to Andie. Joey had finally come up with an idea. Her hands were rested on the countertop at the reception desk. "You don't understand. I have to see a doctor immediately."

"This is a private care facility," the woman at the desk informed. "Unless it's a medical emergency, we do not take walk-ins."

"This is a moral injustice," Joey exclaimed. "I have psychiatric concerns!"

"Well, obviously."

Joey's mouth fell slightly a gape at her words, but she quickly got back into character. "Fine," she simply replied. "If that's the way it is, I guess you'll just have to do," she said, hopping onto the counter, and leaning back as if it was a therapy session.

"Excuse me?"

"Well, somebody's gotta listen to me," Joey explained. "I've had a tough life, lady, and I have a lot to talk about," she told her. "See, it all started when I fell in love with this body down the creek and that was after my mother died of cancer, but before my father went to prison for the second time," she continued her story as she silently hand motioned for the boy to go.

Lucas noticed her hand motion and slowly crawled past on the ground. "This boy's name was Dawson, and he was your typical, over-analytical, adorable teenager, who happened to be my best friend," Joey explained, and Lucas snorted out a laugh, but Joey hid it, quickly with a cough.

LUCAS WALKED excitedly up the staircase until her found her floor number. He smiled widely as he heard her soft chuckle ring through his ears. He turned the corner and knocked on the door, catching Andie's, and the boy's attention. "Lucas," Andie exclaimed. "Oh, my God. What in the world are you doing here?"
