LUCAS BENSON and Pacey Witter had decided to hang out for the day. One, neither one of them had nothing better to do after school, and two, he didn't get a chance to hangout much with him during his birthday bash. So, the two planned on going into town to hang out and see if they find anything they like.

On the other hand, Aurora and Andie sat on the Benson's girl's bed. The two had been gossiping about small things. But Andie had decided to bring up a different subject. "Hey, uh, Aurora," she spoke up, as she crossed her legs, sitting with her hands in her lap. "Are you and Pacey like- like a thing?"

Aurora's head perked up to the question. She furrowed her eyebrows as a smile spread across her face. A scoffed laugh left her lips, "yeah, as if, me and Pacey are just really good friends," she stated, and shrugged, "that's all we are."

"Really?" Andie questioned. "Could've had me fooled."

Aurora shook her head at the Mcphee's girls' theory. But, instead of commenting any more on it, she changed the subject. A smirk came crawling onto her face, as she adjusted her spot on her bed. She leaned her back up against the bed post, "what's going on with you and Lucas?" she asked.

A pink blush color spread across Andie's face as she looked down at her now fiddling fingers. Aurora smiled at the reaction and grabbed a hold of one of Andie's hands, the two girls looked at each other. "I like him, a lot. I know it sounds weird to confess that to you, because that's your brother and everything, but I have no one else to tell."

Aurora nodded, understandingly, "I knew it," she stated. "I knew it since you guys left the birthday bash together," she informed. "Do you guys think you will go anywhere?" she questioned.

Andie shrugged, "I don't know," she truthfully answered. "I mean in some viewpoints it seems like he does, but I don't want to get my hopes up, you know," she told the brunette, who simply just nodded.

"Well, he's my brother, so I'll just annoy him until I get some answers," Aurora shrugged with a smug smile. "But, Andie, anyone would be crazy not to like you back. You're really sweet, and you're very, very pretty, okay?"

Andie smiled and nodded, slowly, "thank you, Rora."

"Of course."

FOR THE past hour or two. Aurora and Andie sat in her bedroom, basically having their own beauty salon. Aurora sat with her legs crossed as she gently brushed the eyeshadow on her eyelid. Her face was full of concentration, she moved on to the other eyelid and squinted her eyes to get a better look.

Andie sat patiently with her eyes closed. Aurora finished blending the two colors and leaned back, looking at her work, impressed with herself. "Okay," she said, setting down the brush, and clapping once, "I'm done. Are you ready to see the final look?"

Aurora set the mirror in front of the blonde as her eyes peeked open fully. Andie's eyes widened at the sight. The eyeshadow was good, but the rest of it, not so much. The foundation wasn't blended with her skin tone, and her eye liner 'wing' was more of a zigzag. "Um," Andie stammered, not sure what to say.

Aurora bit her lip with a hopeful look on her face. Andie set the mirror down and looked over at the brunette. "It looks," she stammered once again. "It looks," she paused trying to find the right word, that wasn't too mean, "unique."

Aurora nodded, "I'll take it."

IT GOT late and Andie had to go. Aurora was now sat on her bed. Music played faintly in the background as she sketched on a sheet of paper. She was done with her shower and had already been ready to go to sleep. Her hair was still wet, but it didn't soak anything, and she wore black shorts with a white t-shirt.

A knock occurred on her bedroom door and afterward the door opened, revealing Lucas. Aurora furrowed her eyebrows, he never did this, usually he'd ignored her and went straight to bed. "Rora, we need to talk!" he exclaimed.

Aurora furrowed her eyebrows and sat up straighter in bed. Lucas rushed over to her bed and sat on the end. "So, did they tell you the story of how Pacey slept with his teacher?" he questioned. Aurora nodded, hesitantly, not sure where this was going.

"Well, listen, she came back to Cape side today," he explained. "Me and Pacey were out around town hanging out, and we ran into her. One minute I saw Pacey, I turned around, and he was gone the next minute. So, obviously I went to go look for him, but the apartment nearby was hers. I went to investigate, and I saw them kiss!"

Aurora felt her heart drop to her stomach when she heard those words. After he told the story the first time, he made it seem like he had been completely over the crush on his teacher. She wasn't sure what to say, but she couldn't show that it had affected her at all, so she did the first thing she could think of, she laughed, "what?"

"Yeah," Lucas replied, "and it was a very compassionate kiss too."

Aurora felt the tears spring in her eyes as she listened to him explain the kiss. All she could do was laugh through the hurt. "Wow, honestly, I can't say that I don't doubt it," she responded with a small smile on her face.

Lucas chuckled at the reply and nodded, "yeah, me neither. Pacey is wild."

Aurora nodded, "yeah- yeah he is."

It fell silent between the two siblings. Both of them sat there as the laughter died down. Neither one of them were sure what to say now. Aurora was the first to speak up, she cleared her throat and looked over at him, "was that it?"

Lucas snapped out of the trance from her voice, "huh?" he questioned but before she repeated it, it clicked in his mind on what she had just said, "oh, yeah, yeah, that was all," he told her. "I'll go now."

Aurora nodded, "yeah, okay."
