EVERYONE HEADED to bed after the incident. Aurora and Haley laid side by side in bed, cuddled up next to one another. The Benson girl stared up at the ceiling as a small sigh escaped from her lips, "I feel terrible, Hales," she replied, as she turned her head to look into her eyes. She forced a laugh out her mouth, "you know I could really use some rain right now to, uh, distract these thoughts."

Haley frowned, "well, the rain isn't coming for a while, so you, uh could tell me."

Aurora took her gaze away from her and looked back up at the ceiling. She shook her head, "I don't want to be a burden," she stated. "I just- I just need to get some sleep, and maybe it'll help."

Haley furrowed her eyebrows, "babe, what's been going on with you lately?" she asked. "I mean, you just seem so off lately. I'm worried about you," she stated as she slowly rubbed her thumb over the back of her hand.

"I'm fine, Hales, I promise," Aurora told her, giving her a small smile. "I just have some things on my mind, but, uh, it doesn't matter. It's nothing serious. Just stupid teenager stuff, you know," she shrugged.

Haley frowned as she adjusted her position in her spot on the bed. Aurora sighed and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, "get some sleep, Hales," she said with a soft tone. "Goodnight."

THE NEXT morning, the bedroom door opened up and revealed Pacey Witter in the doorway. His eyes saddened at the sight of the two girls cuddled next to each other in bed. He snapped out of it and decided to go on along with what he originally planned to do. "Rise and shine, ladies," he exclaimed. "Time to get up. We have some breakfast to make!"

Haley's eyes slightly fluttered open to the sound of his voice. She rubbed her eyes, tiredly and turned to look over at the girl beside her. "Hey, Rora," she whispered with a soft tone. "It's time to get up."

Aurora stirred in her sleep before she decided to open up her eyes. She felt the soft touch on her shoulder as she turned to face her girlfriend, who looked at her with a small smile. "Good morning."

"Good morning, hales."

"Uh, Pacey wants us to go downstairs and help with breakfast," Haley informed.

So, once the two got ready to at least look decent, they headed downstairs along with everyone else. Everyone got a role in the kitchen, whether it was to pour drinks, or attempt to cook something.

Music played throughout the kitchen; the group of friends all danced around with each other as they prepared the breakfast buffet. Aurora went to walk past the Witter boy, but he grabbed her hand and spun her around to the rhythm of the music. "So, is someone going to tell me what's going on? I thought everyone was going home?"

"Well, you know, you sleep late, you miss a lot," Dawson replied with a smile. "All right, you've done the bed thing. Now it's time for some breakfast," he stated as he led the girl over to the table.

Everyone gathered around the table with a plate of food in front of them. Lucas set a plate down in front of the Joey, "uh, so they didn't have any animal or pine tree molds, so I tried to make one from scratch, and from what you could tell it did not turn out right," he smiled, sheepishly at the Potter girl.

Joey smiled, "I love them," she complimented. After everyone was sat, she looked around at everyone. "Good morning, everyone," she spoke up, and everyone muttered at the same time 'good morning' 'morning.' "Good morning, Mr. Fricke."

The man smiled and gave a small nod, "good morning."

"You know, I know we still have a few kinks to work out," Joey stated with a small sigh at the end of her sentence. "We'll probably never have the fine linens and gourmet food that you're used to."

"The heat didn't work last night," Mr. Fricke informed. "But this is one of the warmest places I've ever stayed," he complimented, and a smile began to spread to everyone's faces. "And these pancakes may be the best in the county."

Joey took a bite out of the pancakes and furrowed her eyebrows, "what am I missing?"

"Why, whatever do you mean?" Bessie questioned.

"Well, for one thing, your pancakes are nowhere near this good," Joey responded.

"Then perhaps we should pay our compliments to the chef, huh?" Pacey asked. "What do you say? Chef!"

Everyone began to chant the words 'chef' until he entered the room, with a baby attached to his hip. "Now who here wants seconds?" Bodie asked he looked down at all of them with a smile on his face.

"Bodie!" Joey exclaimed and got up from her seat to give him a hug. "What are you doing here?"

"What do you mean? I wouldn't miss this for the world." Bodie responded.

Bessie stood up from her seat and gave Jodie a small kiss on the cheek. From his seat, Joshua smiled sadly at the couple. His eyes followed as Bessie led the brunette away from the table and into another area of the house.

Everyone continued to chat with one another. Mr. Fricke raised his cup in the air, "to the Potter B&B," he toasted. Everyone cheered and raised their cups up as well, clinking it against everyone else's.

EVERYONE HAD packed up and left to go back home. The twins and Haley stayed behind at the Potter B&B to help clean up. Aurora was in the living room as she folded a blanket and set it down on the back of the couch. A small yawn escaped from her mouth, she sat down on the couch to take a break, but the break lasted a little longer than she had wanted.

Pacey walked into the room after he talked to Joey and looked around. "Hey, Rory, you need someone to walk you home or-" he stopped talking and froze in his spot. He noticed the Benson girl on the couch, asleep.

A smile creeped onto his face as he looked down at her. He grabbed one of the blankets that she had folded and slowly draped it down over her body. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, "sweet dreams, Rory."

Pacey sat down on the armchair and smiled as he watched the girl. She looked peaceful, and in his eyes, she was beautiful. His arm was propped up on the arm of the chair, as his chin rested in the palm of his hand.

Haley walked in and opened her mouth up to talk but stopped immediately as she noticed the scene in front of her. Pacey sat on the armchair while he watched the girl sleep, and all she could think about was what Mrs. Ryan had said, 'You know you love someone when you can spend the entire night just sitting by the fire, watching them sleep.'

Her arms crossed over her chest as she watched him with teary eyes. It was no secret that the Witter boy was still in love with her, and in some way, she could tell that she wasn't exactly over him yet either.
