Chapter XVII: Jianhao, it's time you do something

Jianhao Tan... he was known to be one of class T1T5's biggest troublemakers alongside with his best friend Vincent. Ever since the organization came along, his goal was to get rid of them. What he didn't know was how powerful and cruel they really were..

The organization kidnapped both him and Vincent and ever since their escape, Jianhao changed drastically. He spends all his time alone and pushed away a lot of people. Jianhao just keeps to himself and is a bit paranoid at times.

He doesn't do this only because of the kidnapping. No no. He's also doing this because he's afraid to talk to Mr. Alan or Mrs. Regna. Jianhao has been afraid because what if he says the wrong thing and he's locked up again?!

Well, he wasn't gonna let that happen. That's why he's destined to be alone.. the only other person he talks to is his sister Nicole because his best friend Vincent disappeared.. and technically Jianhao has
no memory of him.

Although he spends most of time alone, he still stands to be quite popular. Unlike his past life, (in which teachers never liked him much), he was liked by all his teachers because he was a well behaved student!

"Jianhao I'm astonished by your work! You put so much effort in it!" Jianhao is a good student.

"Jianhao I wish I could be like you-! You're so.. talented and smart!" Jianhao is a good student.

"Jianhao Tan is an inspiration to everyone!!" Jianhao is a good student.

"Pfft.. Jianhao is so popular for what? He's not even that smart. He's not the top student." Jianhao is a good student..

"Hao never hangs out with anyone. What a loser.." Jianhao is a good student...

"He should stop being paranoid and be normal like the rest of us." Jianhao... is.. a weirdo..? A loser... a loner who doesn't deserve attention.

As time went on, he was getting judged for always being scared and alone all the time. Worst part was, he didn't have anyone... no friends.. no girlfriend.. even his sister Nicole started avoiding him. Jianhao wasn't loved by anyone..

His roommates didn't even bother trying to comfort him because they were always busy on other things. So he was alone, either studying or doing homework. Even that felt lonely. Oddly enough, he was usually used to the loneliness.

But since he was only seen as the 'loner' and 'paranoid weirdo' he wasn't enjoying it anymore... 'Everyone is out there doing something.. that- I..I was apart of the Student Council. But after we disbanded, things weren't the same...' He narrated to himself while writing on his notebook.

As he continued thinking and writing, the environment around him became quieter.. it was as if time had stopped right before his eyes. The atmosphere became rather peaceful. A soft tune started playing.

Jianhao stopped and looked around the room. The dusty old library slowly became a beautiful cherry blossom hill with a picnic layout. He saw Denise waving at him with a warm smile on her face. Jianhao exchanged that smile and ran up to her.

"There you are dear! You came just in time. I prepared a picnic for just the two of us! Come take a seat." Said Denise as she patted the spot next to her. Jianhao faintly smiled and sat next to her. As he was admiring the view, he felt a warm touch.

Denise was hugging onto Jianhao's arm, staring at the cherry blossoms falling from the tree. Jianhao grabbed a sandwich from the picnic basket and started feeding it to Denise. The two were smiling and blushing, their warm laughter lighting up the scenery.

They were at peace. Nobody was there to disturb them.. it was only them two. Denise looked at Jianhao with dreamy eyes and said, "Hao.. don't ever stop looking at me. And please, let's stick together forever." Denise kissed Jianhao on the cheek and held his hand.
