FOURTEENTH • Bound by Blood

PETE'S POV

I couldn't think straight with a gun pointed at my forehead.

Vegas was shot by the Main Family bodyguards. My vision went dark when Vegas fell to the floor and they took him somewhere I do not know!

I can't think of any other way but I have to try, "Where did you get the courage to point a gun at the Head Bodyguard? Do you want to die?" I asked as I tightened my grip on my gun.

Four of them surrounded me and they were all pointing guns at me, I had to get out of here!

"But you were with Khun Vegas.."

"I was with him because I'm going to take him to Khun Korn! Khun Vegas deserves to d-die." I swallowed a saliva down my throat, trying not to stutter a word.

"Khun Korn is dead. His children are now taking his and Khun Kan's body to the parking lot to take it to the morgue."

Fuck! They already know? We just left there!

"And where are you going to take Khun Vegas? I have to bring him in front of the Main Family brothers!" Please tell me!

"They ordered Vegas to be killed." they lowered their guns and started to form together, "Let's go find the others!" he patted me on my shoulder.

How can they do that to their own family? Heartless!

They started walking slowly while exploring the surroundings. I snapped my neck, clenched my jaw and started shooting them one by one.

BANG!

"Stupid people!" I screamed in pain.

BANG! BANG!

"Ai Pete! What are you doing?" the last one slowly raised his two hands, I approached him and did what he did to me earlier.

He was staring motionlessly at the gun pointed at his forehead.

"Do you know who you are up against? It's me, Phongsakorn Saengtham, not Pete the Head Bodyguard. Learn to know the difference." I smiled at him while circling the tip of my gun to his forehead.

"And this is for the people who hurt someone I love."

BANG!

His blood splattered on my face and other parts of my body. I wiped the tip of my gun, it was dirty.

I followed the trail of Vegas' blood until the second floor but it was cut off where I was standing now. I feel nervous, scared and hurt right now. I need to know where Vegas is!

I saw Arm and Ken aiming guns at each other so I immediately hid behind a big pole.

"Ken, what is this?"

"Sorry."

I peeked at them and I could see the disappointment on Arm's face. He was about to fire the trigger when I ran to him to stop him but unfortunately, he accidentally fired the gun and it hit my knee., "Pete? Pete sorry, I didn't mean to..

Arm was about to hold me in my waist when Ken suddenly pulled me away from him. I wrapped my arm around Ken's shoulder as I cannot balance myself.

"Are you okay?" asked Ken.

I nodded at him and looked at Arm, he's so confused.

"Where's Ve.. Khun Vegas?" I asked him but he just shook his head. He loads his gun and his hands were shaking as he pointed the gun at me., "Where is Vegas?" I repeated my question.
