CHAPTER ELEVEN

SCARLETT

Scarlett was a party hound, a party addict, she was party mad. Many adverbs and adjectives could be used to describe her. 

By the time the party had ended at 1 a.m., her hair was wet, her clothes were wet, and she was extremely smashed. She could hardly string out a sentence without laughing or hiccupping. The same could be said for the half-Asian twins, but they weren't as wasted as the birthday girl. They, at least, were not hiccupping. Azalea was only slightly tipsy, but she was also sweaty from all the dancing. Kai annoyingly refused to drink anything with alcohol in case I got a panic attack from being in a crowd of people. I explained to him that I was uncomfortable because of the stares but I was fine, especially if no one argued but he had decided not to listen to me and have fun, so I let him be. He did, however. smoke a cigarette... or seven. He stayed by my side the entire night and only left when he had to go and make sure Savannah was not hurting herself. At least, we enjoyed each other's company. The party was held in one of the Bravados restaurants which was closed and cleared out for the night.

As soon as the party ended, one of the Harper's chauffeurs drove us to one of the Harpers' high-rise buildings to take one of the Harpers' private jets to Paris, where we spent the night in two of the pent-suite apartments of one of the Harper's many hotels.

"This is the best birthday ever!" The blonde beauty screamed in between hiccups, as she undressed in the middle of the living room. Of course, she would. She had nothing to hide.

When she had called me to tell me that she had chosen a skin-tight, shimmering, sleeveless jumpsuit for us to wear, I had internally groaned and almost told her to change it. There was nothing on my body to show but bones but since it was her birthday, I decided to suck it up. I smartly threw an equally shimmery kimono on top of it. She didn't like it but when I showed her how shapeless I was she let it go. Well, she tried to make me feel better about it, but Azalea told me to keep it on and never take it off. As hurt as I was, I appreciated her honesty.

"Savy, you say that every year. Go to your room, we are in no way attracted to your nudity." She took the cigarette that Savannah had lighted and smoked it herself. "You've had too many of these."

Savannah pouted. "Some people are."

"Yeah, thirsty guys. Seriously, go away."

Savannah rolled her eyes and picked up her clothes. "Be ready by 10. We have a lot to do." She winked at me and swayed her way to her room, shutting the door behind her with a squeal.

Azalea rolled her eyes and blew smoke through her nostrils. "I always take the room closest to the dining room because it has the prettiest view, but since it is your first time here, you can have it. I will see you tomorrow morning." She said and disappeared to her room.

Just as I was about to enter my room, I heard a knock at the front door and hesitantly walked over to open it. I looked through the peephole and saw Kai standing there, looking a little bit impatient. My heart fluttered, and I opened the door with a smile.

He grinned and walked in.

"D-D Did you need anything?"

Without answering my question, Kai pulled me towards himself and caught my lips with his. He shut the door behind us and held my arms against it whilst he continued kissing me. Goodness! He was like a drug. I moaned lightly into the kiss and closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth of his body against mine and the movement of his expert lips. He let go of my arms to wrap around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. We immediately took it to my room where we continued exploring each other's bodies and mouths. I hadn't even realised that he was in his underwear, and I was in mine until I felt his hand begin to enter my panties. I gasped and gripped his arm tightly.
