"Okay," Hange laughed. "It's pretty crazy Eren won with "The Cure's 'Friday I'm In Love' for best montage song."
"Yeah," said Erwin, smiling. Just like the good old days, eh, Levi?"
Eren cocked his head to look at Levi. " What? "
Levi kissed his temple. "I'll tell you later."
Nanaba passed out new cards. "I don't think I've ever seen anything cuter."
Erwin got up to answer the door and swooped Armin up into his arms. The tiny man grinned when everyone sang, "How was work?"
He giggled as Erwin set him on the couch. "It was shit. I'm glad to be here." His eyes caught Eren's, and they smiled at one another. "Whatcha playing?"
Mike took a swig of his beer and answered, "It's kind of like Cards Against Humanity, but we use music as prompts."
"Oh, I don't think I'd be very good at that."
Eren grinned. "You'll be fine, little bit. Why not make him the judge this time, Nan?"
Armin shrugged his shoulders and leaned into Erwin. "Okay."
"Okay," Nanaba said. "Who's got a prompt?"
"I've got one," replied Moblit. "How about the sexiest guitar solo?"
The group paused and looked at each other. "Yes, okay," Hange yelled.
"Calm down, shitty. You'll knock the table over," fussed Levi. His gaze turned to Eren who smiled. "Okay, let's do this."
Each of them, except Armin, picked up a pencil and started scribbling down their song title on a card. Eren was the first to turn his over when he finished. He looked triumphantly at the group, while Hange and Mike deliberated for quite some time.
Erwin whispered in Armin's ear and he nodded. "Okay, pass the cards to me face down."
Everyone leaned in while Armin steadied the cards in his hand. Spreading them out face up, he read the songs out loud. "'Dime, Mi Amor' by Los Lonely Boys, 'Wicked Games' by Chris Isaak, 'Cashmere'" by Led Zeppelin.
" Oh Miiiike," the whole group groaned together, "C'mon!"
"What!" Mike whined. "That is the sexiest song. It was practically created for sex."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah!" quipped Nanaba. "Nobody wants to go that long."
Everyone laughed. Armin continued: "'Beast of Burden' by the Stones." The boy did a little jump when Erwin winked at him. "Ooooh, I love that one." He looked around with a red face. "Okay, sorry."
"'Sultans of Swing' by Dire Straits, 'Still of the night' by Whitesnake, 'Panama' by Van Halen."
"Pfft! Really?" Levi interrupted.
"Sssshhh," Hange scolded. "No judgment, short stop!"
Mike hollered, "How come you didn't stick up for me like that?"
"Aww honey," Nanaba cooed, snuggling against him.
"Guys c'mon!" Farlan yelled. "We'll be here until morning."
"Okay," Armin continued. "'Sweet Jane,' the Cowboy Junkies version, and 'The Boys of Summer.' That's it. I can't believe I actually know all of these songs!" He scanned the room. "I need to hear 'Panama' and 'Boys of Summer' again. It's been a while."
"Awesome, potty break," said Isabel.
"Does anyone need another drink?" asked Farlan.
Everyone went about their business as Armin listened to those songs. Instead of going outside for a cigarette, Levi wanted to hear Panama again. When the solo came on, Levi turned to Eren with wide eyes. "I don't think I've ever heard it this way. It's almost, almost..."
