Rory
Shane came back, but without Otis. I didn't know him well but I could see the impact he had on these people. Maggie sat on the couch with tears streaming down her face. I sat uncomfortably in the corner.
I watched the closed door closely, like if I took my gaze away from it I would miss it opening or something bad would happen.
I watch as the door swings open and Hershel walks out with his shirt cuffs bloody.
"It went well, he's stabilized." I scramble to my feet following behind Rick and Lori. Carl looked pale and his body was damp. Lori took the seat right next to bed, Rick stood behind her.
"Sit." He pointed at the chair next to Lori. I did as I was told, to tired to be arguing with people.
I placed my hand on his knee, not that he knew it was there. But it was more for my comfort. Lori sighed and rubbed my back up and down.
"You should try and get some sleep."
"Where?"
"Chair in the corner." Lori pointed to a chair the was sat in the corner. I bite my lip, looking back and forth between the chair and Carl.
"Go. I'll wake you if anything happens. I promise." Rick pats my back. I nod a little before getting up and waddling my way to the chair. I close my eyes in comfort as the softness soothes my aching joints.
I close my eyes and maneuvered to the side and laying my head down. I softly shake my foot and hum to myself as I fell asleep.

I shifted my weight from foot to foot as I stood by the rest of the group. they got here this morning. I stood about 4 feet away from Daryl.
I listen to Shane, as he explained Otis last moments. He was acting weird, his eyes were kept to the ground, he was jittery and his story didn't make sense. Plus he came back with his gun.
I look next to me, making eye contact with Daryl. looked like he had the same expression as me. I shake my head and turn my attention back to the rock wall. Shane hobbles his way up there, having injured his ankle on the trip. He places the rock against the rest of them before walking back to his spot next to Rick.
When the wake was over, most of us went over to a truck and looked at the map that was laid across the top.
"I'll go up and around the creek, see if I can find anything." Daryl traced the map with his finger.
"I'll take over here." Rick pointed, Hershel, who I was questioning on why he was here, disagreed.
"No, you gave three pints of blood. You won't make it across that field before passing out. and you," he pointed to shane. "You need to stay off that foot. You keep using it you'll get yourself hurt even more."
"I can go out, bout a mile, make my way back to the highway." I suggest, shrugging my shoulders.
"No." Was all Rick said.
"I can take care of myself." I defended.
"With you being pregnant, I don't feel comfortable with you being out there." Shane spoke up, everyone who didn't know, looked at me. I let out a small gasp.
"Shane-" Lori began.
"Are you fucking kidding me!" I point my finger into his chest. "You knew not everyone fucking knew. This wasn't something for you to tell." I had tears brimming my eyes, I don't know why I was crying I just was.
