Rory
I opened my eyes to see the sun shining right into my cell. I went to turn around when a body stopped me. I smiled.
He said he wasn't sleeping in a cell, but he he was. Behind me. I managed to turn around, facing him, without waking the man.
I traced my finger over the scars on his bare arms. His muscles tensed under me and goosebumps formed. I smile and kiss his bicep. I hear a groan, and his eyes open.
"Morning." I give him a smile, which he returns.
"Good morning." He leans down and gives me a kiss, which I return.
"Thought you weren't sleeping in a cell?" I reach down and play with his fingers.
"I wasn't going to, but you wrapped yourself around me."
"Well, you ended up behind me. So that means you got out." His face turns a light shade of red.
"Come on," I slap his arm, sitting up in bed. I pull my shirt on over my tank top. "Rick's probably up and wanting to do some shit." I roll my eyes. I lean over the playpen, smiling at the twins. I pick them up and give them both a kiss on the head.
"Good morning my babies." I place them both on my hip, following Daryl out of the cell and downstairs, I was right Rick was up.
"Give me one." He clapped his hands together. I roll my eyes and hand Everest over to him. Her babbling nonsense, he cooed incoherent words to them as I sat down at a table.
T-dog yawns as he walks out of his cell, pulling a shirt over his head. He smiles, tickling Everest under her chin.
"Da!" she reaches out for Daryl. "Da!" She slaps her hands together. My eyes widen and I look to him, him looking at me with the same expression.
"Did... did she just..." he trails off, not knowing what to say.
"Dada!" Yup she did, she stretches her body out even more towards him. Daryl reached across the table, taking the baby from Rick's arms. His shock expression turning into a sly grin towards me.
"That's not fair. Her firsts words are supposed to be mama." I pout. I get closer to Everest.
"Say mama. Say mama."
"Dada." I throw a glare to Daryl, who gives me a amused smile.
"So not fair." I shake my head at him.
"Y'all find anything?" Rick asks.
"Yeah."
"A little."
"Your mom." I slap a hand over my mouth. No way I just said that shit.
"My mom is technically your mom." He rolls his eyes and I burst out into a fit of giggles.
"Y'all don't have the same mom?" T-dog asks and I shake my head.
"Nope." I say, popping the 'p'. "Rick is like... old. I'm 18 by now, if not I have to be really close."
"I'm in my late thirty's." He rolls his eyes, once again.
"Yeah, old." I hiss at him.
"Can we get back to the important, before I murder Aurora." I roll my eyes this time. T-dog, Daryl and Rick put the things they found onto the table.
