Narrative

Daryl was deeply regretting bringing Maggie and Glenn instead of Rick.

"Can you guys please stop eating each others faces and focus on the task." He turned around to tell the couple to do something, only to see them making out.

"Yeah, sorry. What did you say." Glenn's cheeks had turned a bright shade of red, while Maggie looked to the ground.

"anything helps, Rory asked for us to look out for blankets, said it was getting cold and the babies need to be warm." He explained.

"Alright, I got baby stuff." Maggie volunteered, walking away in the store.

"You get medicine, I'll look around for some food, water, ammo. Stuff like that." Daryl told Glenn, walking off after. Glenn looked around before going off in a random direction.

Maggie held her backpack by the hanging loop, looking for things to grab. "Jackpot." she grabbed the stack of tiny blankets, putting them in the bag before looking for more.

She shoved various pieces of clothing, bottles, toys and some other things she thought Rory could use, into the bag.

Glenn shuffled through the medicine bottles, grabbing pain killers, cold medicine and all the bandages he could find. He heard a something drop behind him. He turned around, letting out a grunt as the walker grabbed him.

"Stupid fucker." He grabbed his knife, thrusting the sharp weapon in its head. kicking it in the side when it dropped to the ground.

He let out a frustrated sigh, picking up the bag and started to shove things in there. When he was done he went around the rest of the store. Smiling as he found some bottles of water and cans of food.

He walked back to the middle of the store, waiting for the other two.

Daryl scavenged for anything, ammo, knives, water, food. He sighed out in frustration as the third drawer he checked was empty.

He went to step out of the room when a loose floor bored caught his attention. bringing himself to his knees, he pried it off, seeing a couple things ammo. he grinned to himself, grabbing them before shoving them into his bag.

He left the room, quickly going through the store to see if he could find anything. He found some water and random cans of food.

He met up with Maggie and Glenn in the middle of the store.

"Y'all find anything?"

"Got my stuff." Maggie said, motioning to her backpack.

"Got medicine, found some water, couple cans of food."

"Great, found bullets, a couple bottles of water and some food. Let's head back, it's getting colder out." Daryl pushed past the two and walked out the store.

They slowly made their way home. Maggie and Glenn had gotten in front of Daryl, and he mentally gagged at the sight of them holding hands.

But you've thought of holding hands with Rory, you have held hands with Rory.

His mind said, he scolded himself and looked to the ground. When he hit the familiar gravel of the driveway he had gotten use too, he looked up.

He smiled a little bit when he seen Rory giving him a smile. He hurried to get into the house.

"Did you find anything?" He noticed how his body felt more relaxed at the sound of her voice.

"Some food, water, a couple things of bullets and medicine. Maggie's got all the baby stuff." He pointed over to maggie.

"Thank you." She gave him a smile before making her way to the older women.

"Rory! come look at all the stuff I got you!" Maggie grabbed her hand and took her into the kitchen. Glenn stood at the table, taking his finds out of his bag.

"Look at these!" Maggie pulled out the little clothes she had stuffed in. Rory listened to her talk as she pulled out each thing.

"Then I got all the blankets I could find." Maggie pulled out a pile of yellow, purple, blue and pink cloth.

"Thank you so much." Rory leaned over and gave the girl a hug. "This means a lot to me."

"No problem." Maggie looked around the room, still only seeing Glenn in the room.

"So... I see you and daryl are getting closer. Y'all looked cozy in bed this morning." Rory playfully rolled her eyes.

"Nothing is going on between me and Daryl, Maggie."

"Tell that to your smile and red cheeks." Glenn commented from across the room. Rory picked up a blanket and chucked it at him.

"Fuck off." She flipped him off.

"Watch your mouth." Rick said, walking into the room. Rory's eyes widened and she looked to Maggie.

She was praying that he didn't hear the conversation they were just having.

"I'm technically an adult. Plus, what are you gonna do. Ground me. Take away my food." she taunted him.

"Nope, but I'll shoot you." He held up his now loaded gun. Rory snorted and covered her face.

"Wow! murdering three people!" She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Blah blah." Rick waved her off. Rory folded up the stuff she had gotten.

"We need like a bin, or basket for all this." She sighed. She didn't have any more room in her luggage to fit it all.

"I'm sure we can find one around here. Thought I seen one in a bedroom up there." Maggie said.

Rory had gotten bored, so she decided to help Glenn put things away. She placed all the medication and bandages in a cupboard while he put food and water in another.

"Are you excited?" Glenn asked her.

"Bout what?"

"The babies."

"Yeah, I am."

"You don't sound so sure." He frowned a little.

"Just a little worried. That's all."

"Oh."

"I'll be ok." She patted him on the back before leaving the room. When she was gone Rick took this time to question Maggie about something.

"So, Rory and Daryl?"

"Oh- um, she says there's nothing going on between them." Maggie rolled her eyes a little bit. It was clear as day that they liked each other.

"I was just wondering if she said anything to you, I've seen how close they've been getting to each other." He shrugged a little bit.

"Yeah, I don't know much. Sorry." She gave him a small smile before leaving the room, Glenn following soon after. Rick sighed and rubbed his head. He pushed himself off the counter and walked into the living room. He smiled as he seen Carl and Rory playing monopoly.
