After putting coke in a glass, I went to a corner and sat on a staircase, and started drinking it. I felt more comfortable near the stairs as my chest felt like they were going to burst due to loud music. Shanalka was chatting with two of his friends in the yard, so I decided not to disturb him.

'Miniru...' I was suddenly startled when someone sat next to me.

Sahesh?

Sahesh smiled and shook the cup in his hand. 'It's been a while though...'

I smiled. The scent that wafted from him started to dig up my old memories, reminding me that I used to like him.

'Yeah I guess so, we didn't talk with each other after we left school.'

'Are you still with Shanalka?' Sahesh asked placing the glass of drink beside him.

I nodded. 'Yes... it's easy to be with him for studies and everything.'

Sahesh looked ahead with his hands on his knees. 'But when I look at you guys. It seems like you guys are more than best friends. More like a couple I guess.'

I didn't say anything for a while because I couldn't think of anything to say.

'What do you mean by that?'

Sahesh shook his head. 'Don't think about it. Drink this coke. I brought this for you.'

He put the drinking glass in my hand left me alone.

I watched him leave with the glass in my hand. Apart from Yeheni, Minula was the only one who knew about Shanalka's relationship with me. Minula didn't talk to Sahesh so I doubted that how Sahesh got to know about that.

I drank the glass of drink without thinking twice.

I thought that maybe he thought that I like Yeheni. I got up from the stairs and looked at Shanalka through the window that opened onto the yard. Shanalka also smiled at me at that time. I winked at him and walked down the stairs towards the rooms. The door of a room near the stairs was open and I just poked my head in to see what was going on. There were two girls and several boys inside the room. I stared at them for a while as it took me a while to figure out what they were doing.

It became clear to me once when a girl bent down and took a long sigh through her nose. I was startled and ran away, freezing the shock. I had to find Sahesh and tell him about this. I wanted make sure that he didn't know about this.

I looked everywhere but could not find where Sahesh was. Finally I approached Dilum who was playing the guitar and asked him, he shrugged and said he saw Sahesh leaving to upstairs. I sighed and started to climb the stairs to the upper floor. My head suddenly started hurting unexpectedly. I reached the edge of the stairs, mentally cursing the loud music. I finally reached Sahesh's room and opened the door to find Sahesh with his arm around a girl's waist and kissing her. I froze for a moment and stared at the two of them. After seeing me, Sahesh signaled the girl to step aside and I watched the two of them blankly, barely understanding what was going on.

All I remember at the end is black and falling to the ground. I suddenly fell to the ground without thinking twice. It kind of felt painful when my head hit the ground do hard. but I couldn't understand anything around me. 

- I woke up in a place where everything was black. All was quiet and my head was still throbbing as someone hit me hard on the head.

I opened my eyes awkwardly and tried to sit up on the bed. I lay back on the bed with pain shooting through my lower back only to realize moments later that I was naked.

I stared blankly into the darkness, unable to do anything, realizing that I had been sexually assaulted by someone.

At the same time, I was startled to feel someone moving beside me, and I started looking around for my phone. When I couldn't find it, I got out of bed and took my shirt and pants from the floor and wrapped them around my body. I put my fingers on the wall and turned on the light in the room.
