       I'm glad I don't get jealous when other people talk about how hot Reno is, otherwise I'd be jealous every single minute while I'm at school. All I hear is, "The guy with piercings is so hot" and, "I wish I could date the new guy," and even, "I want the new guy to step on me."

       I agree with every single one of them. Well, except for me wishing I could date him since I already am dating him. And trust me, it's the best feeling in the world.

       Everyone who has a music class this semester is required to perform songs during a music showcase that happens every once in a while. Which means I get to watch Reno perform and swoon over him even more.

       I'm not the only one swooning over him. A lot of people in the gymnasium where the showcase is being held is just completely swooning over him. Once again, I don't blame them. Reno is just so freaking hot.

       When Reno finishes his performance of Queen's Killer Queen, the audience applauds. And someone has the audacity to yell, "You're so hot, Reno!"

       Amelia looks at Adam. "That's one way to get murdered by Weisz."

       I furrow my eyebrows. "Why would I murder Adam for speaking the truth?"

       "Seriously?" Amelia asks. "You don't care if other people call your boyfriend hot?"

       I shrug. "Like I said, it's the truth. And I don't really think Reno will dump me for someone else, so I don't really care what other people think about him."

       Adam sighs. "I wish I could be that carefree. I get jealous if someone so much as looks at my crush."

       All of us just stare at Adam in complete silence since this is the first time he has ever mentioned the fact that he has a crush. Marcel is the one who speaks up. "Uh, you have a crush? Why haven't you told us? Who is it?"

       "It's your mom," Adam says.

       Marcel glares at Adam. "Not funny. I'm being serious. Who's your crush and why haven't we heard about it?"

       Adam shrugs. "Maybe I'm lying. Maybe I don't have a crush. Maybe my crush is Reno and I didn't say anything because I didn't want Weisz to kill me."

       "Oh," I say. "Well, then I don't blame you. He's hot."

       "Once again, I wish I could be as carefree as you," Adam says.

       Reno soon joins us in the bleachers as the rest of the showcase continues. Reno sits down beside me, so I wrap my arm around him. "You were amazing," I say.

       Reno smiles at me. "Thanks. Though I kind of feel like you're saying that out of an obligation for being my boyfriend."

       "Uh, no," I say. "I'm serious. You're an amazing musician. You could probably sing me to sleep with that voice of yours. Please sing me to sleep."

       "Please stop flirting around us," Adam says. "You're making us all feel single."

       "You wouldn't feel single if you asked out your crush," Marcel says. "Speaking of, who is it? And don't say it's my mom this time."

       "Fine," Adam says. "It's your dad."

       "I hate you."

       Adam just blows Marcel a kiss before we all turn our attention back to the next student performing. The showcase doesn't last long after that, so we can soon leave the gymnasium to head home.
