32 - Goodbye

3rd Person's POV

Ree took a deep breath as she stood infront of the boys' dorm. It has been 2 weeks since she and V just got back together.

Everything was perfect when suddenly something came up.. Ree have to move away. Away from them. Away from Bangtan, the thought of it makes Ree just cry.

She doesn't want to do it but she has no choice. Her mother was accepted to start a business but they needed to move. Ree wanted to make her mom happy so she just agreed to it.

She didn't know if this was right or wrong. So she stood infront of the boys' dorm, hesitating to knock. Her palms started sweating as she slowly knocked, the beating of her heart fastens.

Nobody seems to answer the door so she just made her away inside and was greeted by a sleeping Suga on a couch. A small smile formed on her lips.

She's really gonna miss them. A small chuckle escape from her mouth as she made her way upstairs, towards V's room.

She walked inside. "Taehyung." She spoke, making the guy that was lying on the bed, stand. V fixed the ends of his shirt as his eyes met Ree's.

"Ree." He smiled as Ree walked in. She was feeling nervous. She didn't want this to happen. She didn't want to be away from him. But she was scared mostly is about how V's going to react about this.

"What brought you here?" V asked, they quickly hugged. Ree sighed and sat on V's bed as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"Something came up." She whispered, her heart almost jumping out of her chest. By the tone of her voice, V knew something really came up. And it's bad.

His heart started pounding as he sat down next to her, holding her hand. He was thankful that she was honest to him and he loved it. "Tell me." He replied, managing a smile even though he knows that this is going to be bad.

Ree bit her lip and closed her eyes for a moment. Just tell him. Tell him. "We're moving away."

V's knees weakened. He felt his world crashing behind him as he tried to process what Ree told her. They're moving away. He thought, his heart was aching as hell but he didn't dare to show it to Ree. He tried to act fine and okay.

"Why?" He asked, calmly making Ree a bit happy. She was satisfied about V's reaction but she didn't know the truth. There was this part of her that felt like he's not okay but she just ignored it.

"Mom. She got accepted to start another business." She replied, pressing her lips together as she waited for his answer.

"That's good." He said which broke Ree's heart. She didn't want that answer. She didn't want to hear that from him.

She wanted him to stop her. She assumed.

She bit her lip, fighting the urge not to cry infront of him. "So, when are you going to leave?" He asked, as he looked away from Ree. It suddenly became a bit silent.

"This weekend." She replied.

V suddenly stood up, sighing. "U-Uhm. Excuse me, I'm just going to get something to drink." He quickly muttured as he hurriedly stormed out of the room, leaving Ree behind.

A tear escaped Ree's eyes which she quickly wiped. She was mad and at the same time hurt. She wished that he would beg her not to go. She wanted V to tell her how much he loves her that he doesn't her to go.

But no.

What she didn't know is, V's also freaking dying inside. V wanted Ree to go, not because he didn't care. It's because he knows that she's doing it for her mom and it what makes her happy.
