16 - Hospital

"Agh!" Someone screamed, we hurriedly ran inside.

It was V. He looks like he fell from the stairs. He was holding his leg and it seems like he twisted it.

We quickly ran to him.

"V? Are you okay? Oh my god, what happened?" I asked as I examined his leg.

"Do I look like I'm okay?" He asked, closing his eyes because of the pain.

"Jungkook, call an ambulance." I groaned, trying to help V to stand up. Jungkook nodded and hurriedly called it.

Apparently the ones who knows how to drive is sleeping and is at the freaking grocery store so yeah, the ambulance.

I helped him walk towards the couch and I placed him there. "Agh, it hurts so bad." He frowned. I bit my lip as I stared at him.

It hurts so bad to see him hurt.

"What happened? Why'd you fall?" I asked, as I ran my fingers to his legs.

He glanced at me and quickly looked away. "I-I missed a step." He said. He seems a bit embarassed because he just whispered it.

The faint sound of the ambulance can be heard already.

"You shouldn't have called an ambulance. I can do it, it's probbably just a sprain." He scoffed.

"V. Can't you see your leg? You fucking twisted it stop acting so strong." I said, frowning at him.

He just scoffed and crossed his arms.

The ambulance arrived and they placed V in a bed. I squeezed Jungkook's hand as we made our way to the hospital.

We were inside the ambulance, they were examining V's leg. I heard someone said 'twisted' and 'fracture'.

I noticed that his pants were bleeding. They tried to take off his pants which is awkward so instead they just cut the part which was bleeding.

And they revealed V's twisted leg which looked so freaking gross.

A bone was sticking out. Okay, I don't want to describe it. I literally saw a bone sticking out and yeah.. there were lots of blood.

It was a severe fracture.

I bit my lip as we arrived at the nearest hospital. They quickly brought V to the emergency room and we were at the waiting room.

"Did you inform the others?" I asked, biting my nails.

"Yes, I did." He said, shoving the phone in his pocket again. "Ree, stop worrying. He's going to be okay." Jungkook said, giving me a reassuring smile.

I replied with a smile too and tried focused about what's happening.

Okay, so he fell on the stairs. Why'd he fall? He said that he missed a step. He's not that clumsy. But he is an alien so yeah.

I'm still confused. Why'd he miss a step? He's probbably not focused and he's thinking about something else while he was walking down the stairs.

Probbably.

"Severe fracture. The doctor said that he may need to recover for 3-4 weeks. So basically, that's like month. But he said that it also depends on the person..." Jin trailed.

"So if he rested a bit more, he might need to recover for 2 weeks. You now? He needs to be really strong in order to recover quickly." Jin said as he ended it with a sigh, crossing his arms.

We all glanced at V who was on the hospital bed. He's currently talking to Athena. Which I guess.. makes him happy.

I could still feel my heart aching. But I have to let go.

"V." Jimin called. V turned towards us. "Mhm?" He asked. "Jungkook, Ree.." he trailed. "..and Athena." He sighed.

"They'll take care of you for the meantime while we get some of your things at the dorm, okay?" He said.

V nodded. They all gathered around V and gave him a friendly hug. I smiled at the scene before my eyes.

They all look like brothers. Well they are, brothers.

"Take care, bro." RapMon said before exiting the room. "Take care!" The other said in unison and left the room, leaving us four silent.

"So..." Jungkook trailed.

"Should I buy some food for us to eat?" Jungkook asked us as he searched his pockets for money.

"Sure." I said.

He smiled at me. "Good then. Should I buy you something V? Athena?"

"No thanks, I'll just have some water." V said, shaking his head at the same time.

"Athena?" Jungkook asked, turning towards Athena.

"No thanks." She said, not bothering to look at Jungkook. "Alright, I'll be back." He said as he left the room.

And it's awkward. No one talked so I just made my way towards a small couch. I could feel their eyes following me as I walked towards the couch.

I laid my body there. I'm so tired. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Are you going to sleep?"

V's voice startled me a bit. "Nope, I'm just resting my eyes for a second." I said, still closing my eyes as I tried to make myself comfortable.

The room went dead silent again and I felt this weird feeling. It's like, I feel like they're gone so I quickly shot my eyes open.

They were still there.

I really hate that feeling. You know? That's why I'm afraid to close my eyes. I'm scared that they might go away once I close them.

Aish, I read to much creepypastas. I'm being exaggerated. Where are you Jungkook? The awkwardness is suffocating me.

After a few minutes later the door swung open, making me sit up.

"Hello, I'm Nurse Daphny and it's time for his medications." A petite girl said, as she entered the room.

She looks so young. She looks like she has the same age as us. She was holding a silver tray with a small cup that has some kind of pills.

"Here sir." She smiled as she gave V the small cup. V took off the pills from the cup and he drank it one by one.

The door swung open again and this time, it was Jungkook.

"Ree, I bought some ramen-Daphny?"

"Wha-.. Jung.. Jungkook?"
