3rd Person's POV

"I don't want you anymore." She whispered to herself. She knew she was lying. She wanted him. She wanted him badly. She needed him.

But why can't I just forgive him? She asked herself. Maybe because she wanted him to suffer? She frowned mentally. I didn't want that. I never did. She though, sighing as she sat up.

She turned to Athena, she was checking her phone then she sighed. "What's wrong?" Ree asked her.

Athena received a message from the boys. She knew their plan and she also wanted Ree and V to be back together but it seems like Ree really is different.

Athena sighed and turned to her. "How are you and V?" She asked, closing her phone as she received a shocked reaction from Ree.

Ree quickly averted her gaze. "We're good." She answered coldly as she played with her fingers. No you're not. Athena thought as she raised a brow at her.

"You're lying." Athena snickered as she threw the cotton pad, walking towards Ree. Ree felt Athena's presence beside her which made her fist clench.

"I-I'm not." She stammered, biting her lip. Ree knew she was lying. They're not good. They're not okay.

Athena let out a soft chuckle. "You two, seriously." She grinned, as she grabbed Ree's hand. Ree flinched, distracting her from her thoughts.

Ree turned to Athena and Athena smiled. "You just have to let him explain." She adviced. Ree pressed her lips together and sighed.

"Can I ask you something?" Ree asked, holding her sister's hand. "You can." She replied, nodding at her.

"Do you think he even cares about me?" Ree asked. She was a bit scared to know Athena's answer. She thought that V didn't actually care but he does.

"I don't know the answer to that..." she trailed, grinning at her. "But he does. You do too." Athena said, receiving a smile from Ree. "You know the answer." She added, whispering it to her.

A small grin peeked on her lips. "I understand." Ree nodded, standing up. She decided to go outside for some fresh air. She needed to clear her thoughts.

"I'm going outside. At the garden." Ree told Athena as she grabbed her jacket, exiting their room. It's probbably silent their, since it's midnight. Ree thought as she entered the elevator.

Athena quickly grabbed her phone and texted V. She told him to come.

The elevator opened, she quickly stepped out of it and walked outside. The cold breeze, greeting her. She wrapped her arms around her. I wish I had someone to hug. She said to herself as she walked around.

It was a bit dark but the moonlight was enough for her to see. She noticed a huge tree so she quickly sat under it, drowning herself in her thoughts.

Just forgive him. Why can't you forgive him? She asked herself as she stared at the grass she was sitting on.

I'm afraid to get hurt. She sighed. Again.

She chuckled to herself. "Afraid? Shouldn't you be immune to it?" She spoke to herself, staring at the sky. Oh, the moon. It's so beautiful, she thought.

"You alone?" She heard a voice. It seems like the person talking was behind her. A tree was between them so she didn't who it was.

A small smile crept on her lips. Maybe I just needed someone to talk to. She told herself. She sighed. "Yeah." She replied, tilting her head a bit.

She didn't know this stranger but it seems like she trusts it with her whole heart even if a tree is in between them.

She felt the stranger, sitting down. "What's wrong?" The stranger asked. Ree pressed her lips together.

"I have a problem." She replied, hoping the stranger would answer her. "What is it? Tell me. I won't tell anyone." The stranger replied, making Ree happy.

There was this part of Ree that feels like she know this stranger. "I love him." She said, making the stranger clenched it's fists.

"But I hate him so much." She added. "I want to forgive him but I'm too scared to get hurt." She said and it seems like a whisper.

"Why?"

"It seems like he doesn't care." She said, frowning as she felt the cold breeze on her skin making her shiver.

"Why?"

"He didn't even tried to stop me when I said that I'd go away." Ree sighed, her eyes were watering. She didn't want to cry, she just met this stranger.

"Then..?"

"He didn't even bother to say goodbye to me." A tear escaped her eyes. "He promised me." She added, making the stranger turn silent.

"He said he wouldn't hurt me, again." She sniffed, wiping her tears away. "But he did and it hurts as fuck." She whispered, trying to smile.

The stranger pressed it's lips and let out a sigh. "Maybe he didn't mean it like that." It said, sounding a bit mad and at the same time worried.

"He didn't mean it?"

"You should talk to him first." The stranger added.

"Why?"

"Because you don't know anything." The stranger groaned. Ree frowned and clenched her fists. She didn't know?

Oh, she knew. She knew that he didn't care. She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "I know." She whispered back.

What is this stranger trying to say? She asked herself.

"You don't. Let him explain, atleast." The stranger said, emphasizing the last sentence.

"Don't speak like you know what I've been through." Ree said as she stood up, turning towards the stranger who was talking to her.

"Oh, I do. I do, Ree."

A small gasp escaped her mouth. It's him.
