So I'm sure many of you guys are wanting an explanation after reading that last chapter. To be honest, the way the story went is not how I expected it to go when it started, but I'm very glad that it took that turn.

First, I want to thank all of my dedicated readers, your amazing comments and votes proceeded to change my life. When I saw the reader count and all the people who added my book to their book lists is amazing and I want to give a big thanks. I also want to thank the ones who gave me the courage to continue writing. I really hope you enjoyed the story and now I'm here to answer your questions.

1. My inspiration for the story

As some of you guys may have noticed some of the parts in this book were actually inspired by some other amazing writers. I love my little Wilbur x Readers and Wilbur x OCs because they give you a lot of ideas. So of course after reading enough wrong number stories I decided to write one myself.

2. Cassie's Character

Cassie's character was an original. Basically she's dedicated to being a goofball full of jokes and fun stories. She is caring, but she hung around the wrong crowd, but what some people didn't realize in this book was that you never actually met, Cassie at all. She was never the main character and if you read the ending you'll realize he started "dreaming" the night he actually met her. So...everything after him meeting her and being drunk on the couch was all fake. It was never real and it all never happened. I know right, crazy.

3. The Dream

Wilbur was not dreaming, but he was hallucinating the whole story. The story was actually revolving around Wilbur and his fear of commitment and disappointment. In the book as you realize he had a drinking problem when things got too hard for him. As you may have noticed when he stopped hallucinating, Cassie was still on the couch with him, just as when he started.

The hallucinating started when he kissed her, which is which something I never physically stated. Wilbur's fear of commitment caused the hallucinating.

He confessed that he would have been scared to confess his feelings if he wasn't drunk. Cassie actually never replied to him. Cassie never said anything about being sober at all. He actually hallucinated her saying it because he was scared she would reject him anyway. Actually from her POV she cuddled him and stayed with him throughout the night.

The only reason the book stayed in her pov for as long as it did is because even when it wasn't her pov he was seeing it from an outsiders perspective until he got into himself.

4. Cassie's Death

Cassie never died in the actual reality as you know, but in Wilbur's hallucinations she never died either.

In this version of Cassie that he created he was playing out what would happen if he gained strong feelings for her. Her death in that reality actually represented death of the relationship.

He was mentally preparing himself for the possibilities of the relationship.

Breakups and Pain

All things he was afraid of that caused his commitment issues.
