29 - Summer Festival

It took a further three weeks for Mana to completely recover. She had to learn how to walk again, which happened to be quite the experience for both Mana and Regina.

After some physical and psychological therapy, Mana was free to go home, just in time for summer break.

"Take that!" Regina cried with a giggle.

"Eru-chan look out!" Aguri shouted, diving into the brunette's arms, knocking them both over as a spray of water struck them both.

"Haha! Losers!" Regina cheered, holding up a large water gun, before she was suddenly sprayed with water herself.

"Oops, you were saying?" Mana teased, a hand half-covering the teasing smirk on her lips.
"Hey!" Regina retorted, "you're meant to be on my side!"

She was sprayed with water again.

"It's a free for all now," said Yuki with a devilish grin on her face, spraying her once again.

"Oh it's on!"

"Wait hold on!" Makoto announced. "I've got an idea."

Everyone crowded around her expectantly.

"We each have to get shot with water three times. The last one to be shot three times wins. The first one out owes the rest of us some juice."

Yuki giggled sadistically, "sounds like you're just offering me the win here."

Lizzie gently punched Aguri's arm. "I know I've got this. Yuki's all tough talk."

"C'mon, I'm professionally trained in this field." Said Alice with a giggle.

"Alright everyone, on the count of three, we run in opposite directions. After that we have an extra ten seconds until everyone can begin the battle," Makoto started once again.

"One!" Mana shouted.

Everyone put one foot forward.

"Two!"

They lowered themselves to the ground, and put two hands on the grass.

"Three!"

Everyone dashed in separate directions. All of a sudden, Alice's courtyard had turned into a battleground. Ten seconds later and the fighting began.

Water sprayed back and forth, striking trees, and bushes.
Aguri and Eru had been teaming up, when suddenly the latter was sprayed with water.
She put a hand over the spot she was hit in dramatic fashion, "drat! I'm- I'm hit!"

"Eru-chan! Don't worry I'll protect you!" Aguri cried and fired rapidly, even getting a hit on both Regina and Alice.

Eru was sprayed with water again. "Aahhh!" She cried, putting a hand to her chest.
"Aguri-chan... I- love you!"

Eru was sprayed once more, and in an epic, emotional display, Eru fell, playing dead.

"Eru-chan! No!"

There was a giggle. Aguri turned to face the source of laughter when she was sprayed with water.
"I've got you now, Aguri."

It was Yuki, and behind her lay a swath of destruction. Lizzie, Alice and Regina had been defeated.
"Or have you?" Aguri countered, firing at Yuki in the face before dodging beside the brunette and taking off into the woods.

She kept running until she was grabbed.
"Shh..."

It was Mana and Makoto! They were still in the game!
"We need to take down Yuki before she defeats us. MakoPi, you take left, Aguri, you take right. I'll charge forward."
