CHAPTER 6- WINK

Olivia 's pov

The night was dark and quite ,only the rustling sound of dried leaves and sounds of animals can be heard. I was in charge of night patrolling and we all are in our wolf form so that it could be easier to run fast.

'Everyone can go back now. After one more checking,i will be back ' i said through the mind link to everyone. There are some anonymous threats to pack's safety so the night patrolling was very strict. I liked to make sure everything is okay.

'olivia , i will be coming with you ' Aaron says back through the link.

' No need. you should also go back. I will be safe on my way' i says dismissively. As my friend and beta he was always very protective of me even though he very well know i can protect myself.

He whine a little but turned back to catch up with others.I started run towards West boundary. The western boundaries has covered with thick wood so it will be easier for someone to enter by there.

I ran through the deep forest checking nothing is wrong or unusual. I looked up the sky to see the moon was shining it's full glory. It made me remind of Derek and his always shining the golden brown eyes.

' Enchanting 'my wolf Catherine said agreeing with me. Derek must be sleeping right now, a smile formed across my lips thinking about his sleeping face.

The night was getting more dark so i decided to go back. But i stopped on my track and turned back when i heard a rustling sound. A strong scent of a rogue was comming from the far end of forest. I run towards at the direction of the scent.

The forest was full of thick trees. I was alert, and ready to attack in any second but the rogue scent began to fade away quickly. I looked every corner of west boundary. The trees and dark night make it much more difficult but even after checking every corner i found no one.

That was strange.I did felt the strong scent of rogues and i know i won't be wrong. I shrugged it, running back to the pack decided to tell Aaron to check this up tomorrow.

Derek 's pov

The lunch time at cafeteria was noisy. Blake was saying non stop about his day. It was funny to hear about how Mrs. Fernandez kicked him out for being late.

"I was just five minutes late, you know?. I don't know what's up with her. She deliberately kicked me out for no reasons." He says annoyed.

" Just five?? " I asked raising one of my eyebrow knowing Blake well. If he is said five minutes then its definitely atleast twenty minutes or more.

" Maybe a little more. What the point in that? " He says rolling his eye make to laugh before sat down on our table.

In cafeteria the nobodies likes us sat on tables far from centre. We didn't wanted attention of anybody and it was peaceful and i liked it that way. Centre tables are mostly occupied by Elijah's gang or Olivia's.

"Hey Derek " i looked up to see Olivia and her minions walking towards me.

" Hai" i says with confusion. What is she doing here?.

" Can we sit here? . All the tables are almost occupied." She asked with a smile.

"Yes , please " Blake answered before i could say anything.vHe nudged my shoulder to say something narrowing his eyes.

" Yeah, of course" i said with a forced smile irritatingly. I don't understand what the deal of Olivia and why She is she decided to bother me , lately.. Is it some kind of dare or something. I don't understand ,even after i thought about it a hundred times. I looked over at the table they were usually sit but it was empty. Then why the fuck she wants to sit with us?.

Olivia sat beside me and she seemed very happy. Sarah was there too with Olivia but she sat a little far away from me .

" I'm Blake. Derek 's best buddy." Blake introduced himself to Olivia. He was sitting opposite of me with a enthusiastic smile.

"I know, you are the one who is always hangout with Derek, aren't you?" she said with a smile while glancing at me. I smiled at Olivia but glared at Blake after that for inviting them to join us. What is he doing right now?. There is no need to invite them to sit here. He just ignored me , giving his full attention back to Olivia.

" How do you know Derek, by the way?" Blake asked Olivia giving me a smirk.

" Oh.. Derek and i are science assignment partners so we decided to become friends " she said looking at me made me to nodded my head agreeing with her, even though she is the one who forced me to become friend with her.

" Hey, I' m Aaron." the one who sat beside Olivia says .He was muscular and almost tall as Olivia.

" Hi, I'm Derek"

" Oh, we know , we heard a lot about you from Olivia. Anyway I'm Jayden." Jayden says eyeing me and Olivia with a teasing smile. Olivia looked almost red at that. I didn't get it what they are talking. Did Olivia said something about me to them?

"Oh.." i says in confusion but nodded my head nonetheless.

" We already knew each other , so there isn't any need of introduction, right?" Sarah said with a chuckle. I was mesmerized by her laugh. she was more pretty when she laugh. Even though i didn't wanted to sit with Olivia, only because of her i got a chance to eat lunch with Sarah. So it wasn't that bad either. I am little glad for that.

" How come you both know each other?" Jayden asked eyeing me as well as Sarah.

" Derek and me has done a project work together last year. That's how we get to know each other " she says .

" Oh.." Jayden says with a nod.

" Who is this ?" Blake asked pointing at a girl who sat beside Jayden. She was looking down uncomfortable of all the attention focus on her.

" I-I am Mia, Olivia's friend" she said stuttering. Mia looked like very shy type.

After that we chat about lot of things. Form them i realised Aaron and Jayden was most close to Olivia. They talked a lot about her and i can't lie it was fun to talk to them. Everyone has different ....different story to tell about Olivia.

" She were an idiot when she was a kid. I did much better than her when I was a kid." Aaron says laughing.

" That's correct, once she jumped from a tree telling she could fly. And broke her two legs. It was very funny to watch her back then ." Jayden says joining Aaron to tease Olivia. It made me laugh even though i tried hold back. Blake was laughing holding his stomach and it was funny.

" Really? You did that ?." I asked with an amused smile makes Olivia totally red with embarassment.

" Yeah! Stop it. It isn't funny, okay!" Olivia said defending. She was looking like a cute puppy.

" He told the truth only ,Olivia. You were so cute back then." Sarah says. It was interesting to watch their friends fight and tease each other.

"Classes are going to start soon. Eat up guys". Blake said informing us. I looked at watch it was almost time to start class. I feel like time passed too fast.

" I will text you." Olivia said leaning closer to me.

" What?.why do you want to text me?" I asked in confusion.

" About the assignment." She says with a smirk.

" Oh.. okay" i said remembering about the assignment we are assigned to do together.

" See you then." She says winking at me before walk passing. She has that mischievous smile on her lips.

I was too shocked to say anything. What? Did she just winked at me?. To ME??

But why would she do that?. Is she really interested in me like Blake says or something?. What are you scheming Olivia?.

I don't understand you....
