CHAPTER 16- DEREK LIKES SARAH?

Olivia's pov

The bell ranged just now, so the hallway was very crowded. It was almost lunch time. Aaron and others were in cafeteria and i was looking for Derek. It would be nice if we can eat lunch together but the problem is he is nowhere to found.

A week had passed after i introduced my mate to my family. I was really nervous to introduce Derek to dad. I know dad and mom have no problem because my mate is a human but nonetheless i was little bit afraid for their reactions.

But it was all great. I could see from their eyes they liked Derek. Even though Derek was little uncomfortable at first, he get along with them too very well. I am glad everything went smoothly.

I don't know how i managed to escape from Derek's doubt about 'Alphas'. I didn't know what to say when he suddenly asked that. My mind becomes a total blank when everyone starts to look at me but luckily he believed my lie.

I know he wasn't completely believed of what I said but he didn't asked about it more after that. I should tell him the truth sooner. I don't like to lie to my mate and i really wanted to tell him 'He is my mate' and everything about me but i am afraid of how is he going to react after knowing everything. What if he couldn't accept me?. What if he is going to afraid of me?. What if he reject me?.

I couldn't even think about being rejected or he being afraid of me. I don't need any of that to happen but i don't want to lie to him forever either. He did only see my one half. He should love my wolf half too. He should love me as who i really am. So when the right time comes i will tell the truth myself.

I went to cafeteria to see Blake was sitting with Aaron , Jayden and Mia. Where could be Derek possible gone?.

"Hey, guys" i says before sitting between Aaron and Blake in the cafeteria. Even Blake was here and where could Derek possibly be?

"What happened? Why so late? " Aaron asks nudging me.

"I was talking with Mrs. Fernandez about the upcoming science competition. She didn't leave me alone." I says rolling my eyes. It was really tiring.

"Why you though?. I am better than you in science but she didn't even asked me about it. " Jayden says can't believe why he didn't gets selected but everyone laughed at him including Mia.

"Don't laugh at me. What i said is true. I am better in that subject!. You don't believe me?" Jayden say irritatedly looking at Mia. She was looking like she was in between devil and sea.

" Leave her alone jay. You are better! Fine." I says laughing turning his attention on me. Why he taking her laugh this seriously?. Lately i think there's something going on between both of them. Jayden always argue with Mia even for a small thing and i don't know why she keeps silent to him always. Whatever,i think it won't be that serious, if it was Mia would tell me definitely.

" Leave it guys. We all know you both are best." Aaron says meddling. I shrugged it off before turning to Blake.

" Blake, did you see Derek?. I didn't see him in science class too?" I ask curiously. It has become difficult for me to not to see my mate even for a day. I was so down that i couldn't get to see a glimpse of his face.

"You didn't see him?. He told me he was going to science class." Blake says confused. I was in the science class, No way i didn't noticed Derek if he was there. I will get his scent if he was near me.

"Oh... Maybe he is with Sarah. Lately he joined a drawing competition because of Sarah. Moreover how could he say no if Sarah is the one who asking?".Blake said after a moment of thinking. Why he can't refuse Sarah?. What does he mean by that?. And when did Derek joined a competition?. I didn't knew about this.
