CHAPTER 24- JEALOUS?

Olivia's pov

"We will drop you at your home, it's not a big deal" i says instantly wanting him to stay with me a little longer.

"No need, i can walk from here. My house is near by and i don't have to trouble you." Derek said coldly without meeting my eyes. What happened to him suddenly?.

"Dere-" i started to say but he cutt me off in the middle.

"See you tomorrow Olivia" Derek said before get off the car and giving a nod to Lucas before went away.

Did i do something wrong?. Why is Derek looked so upset?. Did something happened in school?. Is he really alright?.

I was thinking about the thousands of possibilities of why Derek reacted suddenly like that. I know something is bothering him. But what could it might be?.

I DON'T HAVE A CLUE!

"L..Luca...I-I am also getting off here. You should go. I have something to take care off." I said looking at the retreating back of my Derek. I am sure ,he is upset. His scent was filled with so much sadness from the moment he entered the car. The sweetness in his scent was nowhere near likes it usually does.

I opened the door and left the car without minding Lucas's questioning gaze. He said something but i couldn't hear anything. All that mattered was my mate, my Derek.

My wolf, Catherine was screaming at me to go after Derek. She become restless because of our mate's negligence towards us. She did asked me to spent time with our mate,but i was so busy with pack's duties that i couldn't do anything. Maybe she said those sensing Derek's discomfort?What happened actually?

Derek was walking fastly, so i had to run to catch up with him. Derek looked at me startled when i stopped him abruptly holding his wrist. I wanted to know what going on with him and with us.

"Derek, what happened?. Are you okay?" I asks concerned looking at his golden brown eyes.

Derek didn't replied to me. I doubt wheather he heard me or not. He only looked at my hand that was placed over his with a frown.

" Derek... what's wrong?.Did something happened?. What happened to you?."I asked desperately. I know something is off with him. Why is he not telling me what's bothering him?. I can make anything possible or solve anything that upset him. He is my mate,my other half, no one should dare not to make him sad. They better not to!

"Leave my hand". Derek said quietly still looking at my hold on him while closing his eyes. His voice was sharp and poisoned with pure dislike.

"What?".I asked confused because of his sudden indifference. Something is not normal. He was not like this.....

"I said leave my hand right now!". Derek said raising his voice looking straight to my eyes. The coldness in his voice pierced through my heart. It was not a casual saying or request but more like an order.

I could only look back at his golden brown eyes with confusion written on my face. Derek was not someone who loose his cool self suddenly. But right now.....his honey brown eyes didn't held any softness like they usually do. It held something..... something more......

I withdrawed my hold from his hand, but it only hurted like hell. The way he asked me to leave his hand like  he hates even a mere touch of mine broke my heart. Am i the reason he is mad?Does he not like me anymore?Does he doesn't like a slightest touch from me? Don't he have any feelings for me?

My mind filled with many wild imaginations. I tried to not to lose my cool also. I can sense Catherine,my wolf's discomfort and forcefully trying to take control over me. She wanted anything but to be with her mate. She is an Alpha wolf that didn't liked refusel.
