CHAPTER 20- SECRET PLACE

Olivia 's pov

I didn't wanted to be the serious and dreadful future alpha of Dark Moon pack Olivia jane in front of Derek. He was sweet and kind. But that sweetness in him makes me afraid to tell the truth about the real me. I know he deserves to know who i am really is but...i feared what if he only see me as a beast like what Elijah said. I wanted him to love me and spend our whole life time together till the death do us apart.

"Louise, You should show your respect to the your future Luna." I mind linked Louise before walk away from them.

Even if derek doesn't know he is my mate that doesn't mean he was a no one. He is the future Luna of the Dark Moon pack and everyone should show the same respect as they shows to me. In the future he is going to guide the pack together with me alongside. Moreover i can't stand someone mistreating my mate.An awkward silence fall between Derek and me. I don't know why he was so silent. Did he feel something strange?.

"Derek?" I call him again not getting an answer from him.

" What? "

"I called you three times but you weren't listening. Is everything okay?." I ask concerned.

"I am fine,I just lost somewhere and it was nothing." He says giving me a smile making me relaxed.

"So you didn't tell me where we are going?" He asks again when we are almost in middle of the forest.

"I can't tell you that but trust me it will worth your time." I says reassuring him smile back.

The forest was covered with thick trees.The birds chirping can be heard faintly. The sun rays was peeking between the gap of the leaves makes it looks so unreal.

We preserved forest because us werewolfs always wants to be close with nature and it kinda helps us to defend ourselves during the attacking of enemies. So most of the pack was surrounded mostly by thick forest. Another important thing was we all liked hunting and liked to go for a long run. Hunting makes us in peace and it was one of our entertaining. So what i was saying was we werewolfs know the importance of these natures and we always tried to protect them unlike those humans.

"We are almost here, so i am going to close your eyes for some moment." I says closing Derek 's eyes using my palm. I has the same height us Derek so it was very easy.

"My expectations are high. So you better not to disappoint me" Derek says with a smug smiles through the closed eyes while walking. I was getting a little nervous from his comment.

I released my hand from Derek's eyes letting him to open his eyes. It will be a lie if i said i am not nervous. It was the first time i was bringing someone to my secret place.

Derek looked shocked for moment before letting out a small "wow!" Looking what's infront of him. It was lake surrounded with pine trees. It was in teardrop-silver in colour and it was shaped like a perfectly flat disc of metal. No sound rang out from the shimmering emptiness of space around it. Monastery quiet, it was lined with pine trees and the whiff of mint wafted up to us.

"Wow! It's so beautiful" he says walking close to the lake.

" So how is it? Do you like it?" I asks even though i can read it from his face.

"I have no words. It's so beautiful!. How the fuck i didn't know something like this is here the entire time?" He says but asks more to himself. I felt giddy inside me knowing he loved my surprise.

"You are first one i am bringing here. So from now on its yours too." I says looking at his eyes. It was one of my dream to comes here with my mate and enjoy it's peacefulness and beauty.
