CHAPTER 45- AGAIN

Olivia's pov

I clenched my jaws looking at Elijah who was sitting infront of me besides Mia. If he wasn't Mia's mate i would have beaten the shit out of him for siting among us with that bloody smirk on his lips like he wasn't my archenemy. It was really a shock to find Elijah and mia are mates. I thought Jayden must be the mate of Mia from their actions but i was wrong. Anyway it was really unbearable to see his god damn face all the fucking time.

Elijah looked at my direction sensing the constant glare on him and our eyes meet with each other. I gritted my teeth giving him a deadly glare when he winked at me poking his tongue on his cheeks with a cocky grin. The hell i can bear with him!. How could moon goddess gave Mia a shitty mate as him?. She was so innocent like a flower. She really deserved better than him. Mia was sitting besides Elijah playing with her food rather than eating.

"Mia darling, why aren't you eating anything? The food doesn't taste good?" Elijah asks taking a bite from Mia's food. I looked away wanting to gang at his sugar coated words. Who thought Elijah could be concerned about someone in his whole life!. But i was glad atleast he is caring about Mia. Jayden was nowhere to see and Sarah was in her own world, not even looking up from her food.

I sighed glancing over at Derek who was eating lunch silently. I know i was at wrong. I shouldn't had lashed out at him just because he stand against me and supported a rogue. Derek was really avoiding me this time. I know he is hurt and i hurted him.

"Derek" i called him placing my hand over his but he yanked his hand away from me abruptly standing up.

"I am going to library." He announced to no one particular before leaving from there not even sparing me a second glance. I didn't wasted any moment and followed him.

I marched towards Derek, taking a seat infront him. I waited for sometimes him to acknowledge me but cleared my throat annoyed when he doesn't even look up from the book like i am invisible to him.

"Do you want something?" He asks coldly with lack of emotions in it.

"Derek, i really am sorry. I shouldn't had shouted at you. I was stressed at that time and seeing you stand for nothing but a pity rogue made me to loose all of my sense. You don't know how cruel they can be and what they can do."

"He is just a kid, Olivia. Stop saying such cruel thing!." He snapped glaring at me getting stares from some of the students and the librarian.

"Derek listen, You don't know anything about our pack's rule. According to us rogues are our sworn enemies and they are restricted from entering the pack. I don't understand why you care so much for that pathetic live more than my words. If my mate isn't listening me then who in the pack will listen?" I snarled getting irritated. Derek is not even understanding my situation.

"Fuck your pack and fuck you Olivia!. If you are going to do such inhuman thing, don't think i am going to stand still and will do nothing." He snarled making me clench my jaws in anger.

"You are being stubborn!. Why can't you just understand me?. I don't think i am asking too much!. I am an Alpha Derek, i have to protect my pack. They are everything to me."

"Olivia, i-"

"You know, the pack is under threat and how many days have i slept peacefully!. It's not look like you don't know anything but more like you don't want to know anything. All you care about that stupid rogue and his well being. All i wanted was a loving mate who will support me and stand for me but here I am....It would have been better if you are werewolf than a human!." I says in the moment of heat but regretted the next moment seeing Derek's face. I gulped seeing how hurt he looked.

"Derek i-" He raised his hand stoping me from the mid way.

"I want to be alone Olivia, please." He said standing up and walking away from me. I rubbed my forehead tiredly looking at the disappearing shadow of my mate sadly.

I hurted him again!.

"You shouldn't had said that!. He is our mate and we should be proud of him." Catherine said in my mind offended of hurting her mate.

"You know, I didn't mean it that way."

"Today you crossed your line Olivia. I am disappointed in you!. Whatever it is , make up with him. i don't care about the pack or that shitty rogue. All i care about my mate's happiness."

I sighed the hundredth time before leaving from there. I wanted to make up with him but turned out the total opposite. Why am making mistakes over and over again?.
