I met up with Gaia in one of the abaonded buildings where no one was in.

"Tell me what happened Seda? What happened to our people?" I worry

"Octavia has become power hungry. She changed during the dark year... we were forced to become cannibals during that year... it's hard for us to talk about it. Anyways, there's some of Wonkru that are completely loyal to Octavia now like Cooper for example. If they believe you are trying to replace Octavia, they will try to kill you." Gaia warns

My eyes widen when she mentions how they were forced to commit cannibalism. What the hell did Octavia do to my people?

"For now let's keep this to ourselves. We don't know who we can trust. If there's a point where we have to overthrow her, we will." I say

Gaia nods, "Yes Heda."

I was with Clarke and we were going to Octavia to tell her about the sandstorm since she probably didn't know how deadly it was.

"Miller your orders were to go-"

Miller cut off Cooper, "I know my orders. I think we should listen to what they have to say."

"You can't take the sea rout." I frown

"Why? You said the sea is gone. Is it passable or not?" Indra furrows her brows

"Yes, maybe. But you have to understand-"

"Maybe's good enough for me." Octavia cuts Clarke off before begging to walk off

"O." Bellamy blocked the way and her guards held him at gun point.

"Stand down." Octavia orders, causing the guards to lower their guns

"Please, O, just hear us out." Bellamy pleads

"Octavia we're all on the same team. No one wants to get to that valley more than us. It's our home. But this way is too risky." Clarke points out

"Risky how?" Indra asks

We walk over to the map to show them.

"You chose the shortest route, which makes sense, but the dry seabed is hit by almost constant sandstorms." I explain

"We have the tents from the second dawn. Sand won't be a problem." Octavia reminds

"It's not just sand. Some of it crystallized in Praimfaya. We're talking shards of glass like razor blades. Your tents will be torn to shreds and so will you." I shrug

"Blodreina is right. Besides, we can only carry rations for 7 days. The sea route will take 6. The next shortest path adds 50 miles. That's two days if we're lucky." Cooper stresses

"How do we know there won't be and storms on the longer routes?"

"Enough. We're doing this. The hydrofarm is barely feeding us now, so if this is the last living valley on Earth, then it should be ours." Octavia points out

"Diyoza thinks the same thing."

"And so we fight."

Cooper nods and everyone leaves the room to spread the news.

"Am I crazy or were they goanna kill me for getting in her way?" Bellamy frowns

"What do we do?" Clarke worries

"Raven and Murphy are in trouble. I have to go with them." Bellamy sighs

"Can't believe we're going back to war. Reminds me of the good ol' days." I joke before picking up my pack and walking with Clarke and Bellamy
