"Do you realize what you've done?!" Gabriel yells, grabbing the man by the collar

"I couldn't let you leave for all mankind! You don't understand!" The man says before being punched by Gabriel

"Stop!" Hope shouts

Everyone froze in place and the man used the opportunity to rush out of the cabin.

"Let him go. He can't help us off this planet if he's dead." Hope sighs

"Help us? He just destroyed our one way off this planet. Does he look like he can help us?" Echo scolds

"If he doesn't, then we're dead. We have 5 years to train for a jump into the middle of a fortress guarded by thousands of highly trained soldiers to rescues the people we love. By then, he'll love us. That's why he'll help us. Trust me. I've done this before." Hope reassures

"Five years." Echo grumbles

We were all currently working on the garden, removing the dead plants to plant new seeds.

"Thinking about it makes it worse." Hope says

"She's right. Give us a hand." Gabriel grunts, pulling weeds out

"Playing in the dirt won't make time pass faster." Echo grumbles

I was about to pull out a dead plant when my hand grazed over Hope's. I mumble a quick 'sorry' before pulling it out with a slight blush.

"Maybe not, but it will give our friend out there someone to long for, seeing the 4 of us working together as a team." I point out

"We should hunt him down." Echo says

"Is that how you make friends in the Ice Nation?" Hope teases causing me to chuckle

"Just Ice Nation. There's no "the"." Echo scowls, picking up a hoe and digging out a perfectly good plant

"There's clearly no gardening either. That one's still alive. Raspberries?" Gabriel turns to Hope

"Paint berries. Eat them, and they make you sick." Hope warns

"Is that what you used on this?" Gabriel picked up a rock with the letter H on it

"No. Hesperides."

3 months later

"The Hercules roses are opening." Echo says from outside

"It's Herc-A-lees. Don't pick them." Hope shouts back

I hold back a laugh, not wanting to judge her for the pronunciation.

Hope and I were currently patching up some clothes that Gabriel carelessly ripped

For the third time...

"You know I could adjust to this life. I'm not worrying about dying every day and it's peaceful here. I just wish our friends were here. Then everything would be perfect." I sigh

"We will get our friends back. We'll do whatever it takes, Rora." Hope squeezes my hand

Suddenly Echo barges into the cabin,

"The dude is outside and he's asking for Hope. We gotta go quick." Echo smiles

Hope and I exchange a glance and we rush outside only to see the man scurrying away, knocking over our tomatoes at the sight of Gabriel approaching the cabin.

"3 months playing happy family to lure him in, and you blew it." Hope rolls her eyes

"Screw that. Look at the tomatoes." Echo frowns
