The Gospel of Josephine

Third person

Josephine and Jade enter the tavern, hoping to find Abby only to see Bellamy, Murphy, and Jordan sitting at a table drinking.

"Bellamy Blake, John Murphy, Jordan Green." Josephine recited

"Yes, good. Abby isn't here. Maybe we should-"

"Relax. I played Vladimir in "Godot" twice. How hard can Aurora be?" Josephine tilts her head

As Josephine nears the table,Madi and Eden spot her and their faces brighten

"Aurora!"

"Mom!"

Both girls rush up to her and embrace her in a hug causing Josephine to stiffen and put on a fake smile

"Oh! Madi, Eden. Good morning." Josephine greets

Jordan walks up to Josephine and kisses her cheek causing Josephine to cringe but fake smile.

"Hey can we talk? It's kinda imp-"

"Can I please go to school today?" Eden pouts

"I don't see why not." Josephine shrugs

Clarke, Gaia, and Jordan looked at Josephine as if she were crazy while Madi frowned, knowing she wouldn't be able to go.

"Aurora! We talked about this." Gaia scolded, noticing Jade in the back

"Oh, apparently, people with blood like mine are a target. The primes insisted." Josephine reassured

Jordan sighs, walking back to his seat while Murphy pats his shoulder.

"Which is why Aurora needs to continue her training with me as a novelty. What if she skins her knee? Or, I don't know, gets a paper cut?" Gaia questions, causing Josephine to look at her confused (trigedasleng.net is down now so I can't get my translations rip)

"Uh..."

"Everything ok?" Bellamy interrupted

"Yeah. Fine. Where are the others?" Josephine asks

"One of the primes is showing Raven and Emori  how to build a radiation shield." Bellamy informs

"Ryker?"

"Yeah. I sent Echo and Miller to watch their backs." Bellamy confirms

"What about Abby?" Josephine wonders

"Still in the library. Jackson said he found her sleeping with her head on a book." Bellamy sighs

"Speaking of books, let's get you to school." Josephine smiles

"Aurora..." Clarke and Gaia scold

"Chill out. She'll be fine." Josephine rolls her eyes

"Chill out?" Bellamy chuckles

"What?"

"Nothing. Happiness looks good on you." Bellamy smiles

Josephine playfully rolls her eyes as she leave the tavern to meet Eden outside.

"Let's go." She says

"Thank you for changing your mind mom. Why did you?" Eden questions

"Maybe I should reconsider." Josephine smirks

"Uh, nope! All good here. I love you mom!" Eden smile as she rushes to the school playground

"Interesting language. English lexical source. Maybe a Creole via pidgin stage. Come on I know where the doctor is." Josephine tells Jade
