"I'm sorry, you're staying where?" Kie asked, grabbing a tray of drinks from the counter of The Wreck.
"Tannyhill," John B responded simply. As it turns out, he only sustained a concussion and a broken left wrist from his fall from the Hawk's Nest a few nights before.
"So, you're living with Sarah Cameron," Kie deadpanned, placing the drinks on the table her friends were seated at.
"Okay, look, the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out, right? And it's way better than foster care, which, by the way, is where I was about to go if Ward didn't–"
"Hey, so like, do you have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope asked, cutting him off.
"Oh, do you get plus fours?" Wyatt added, taking her Dr. Pepper from Kie gratefully.
"I don't know, guys," JB responded tiredly.
"What about those little golf carts they get to drive around?" JJ continued. "You get one of them?"
"Does it come with a sweater-vest, or do you have to go buy one of those on your own?" Pope rested his hands behind his head.
"Do you magically transform into a golf-playing douche now that you're one of them, or–" Wyatt inquired.
"Look, you promised," Kie cut her off, not interested in their fun-poking questions. "You said you weren't with her."
"Bro, just own it. She got you," JJ said.
"Look, if you wanna hang out with her, that's fine," Kie continued. "But I'm letting you know right now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah."
"Do you guys see her here?" John B asked rhetorically. "No, right. Okay. A little focus would be fantastic. We've got the map, right?"
"Well, it's all out of whack 'cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it," JJ noted, pointing at the map splayed out on the table.
"It's 'cause the coast has changed," Kie corrected.
JJ nodded as Pope started talking. "So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed."
"What about the old forts?" John B asked after a second of thought.
