"Uh-oh! You forget your keys or something?"
"You gonna need a tow?"
Wyatt shook her head at her friends' teasing. After a very eventful night, Wyatt slept at John B's, along with JJ. Pope met the trio in the morning and together, they set off on the HMS Pogue to pick up the other girls of the group who were currently stranded on a plugless boat in the marsh.
With a chuckle, Wyatt turned her head to glance along the horizon, smacking JJ's arm when she saw a fin in the water.
"Oh, shit," the boy smirked once he saw the shark.
"What do you think it is?" the girl asked him quietly as the wind whipped her hair into her face.
"A shark," JJ responded.
Wyatt deadpanned, rolling her eyes. "No shit. I meant what kind?"
"Oh, shit, I don't know," he thought. "I'll bet it's a tiger."
Wyatt nodded in agreement as the John B pulled the Pogue up next to the boat.
"You gotta admit, it was kinda funny," he said to the girls. They looked less than impressed.
"John B," Kie started.
"Uh, what's that?"
"Mastermind, huh?"
"I'm always plannin'."
Kie stood with a huff. "Some patriarchal bullshit."
"Yeah, that sucked," Sarah nodded.
"You still love us though, right?" JJ asked, tossing the bowline to Kie.
Wyatt smirked. "I mean, at least they can agree on something."
"Yeah, whatever," Kie muttered, tying the boat off.
"You still hate me?" JB asked Sarah.
"A little," she responded, folding her arms. "We're both gonna get you back when you least expect it.
