Wyatt didn't sleep much last night.
Scratch that. JJ didn't let Wyatt sleep. As it turns out, the kick to the head from Rafe gave her a minor concussion.
It's safe to say that Wyatt was grumpy the next morning. The Pogues, minus a mysteriously MIA John B, we're helping Heyward with restocking the shelves.
Wyatt's head didn't hurt much anymore, but Heyward could see she wasn't as chirpy as usual, and made her relax behind the counter.
"Don't let it get in your head, bro," JJ said by the counter, trying to reassure Pope. "There was three of them and two of us. That's some typical Kook shit right there."
"Hell, yeah," Kie agreed, acting as cashier.
"What was your thought process, using your head?"
"I don't know, man. I just kind of acted off instinct, alright? I was a cornered animal." Pope was rummaging through a box of cans while Wyatt spun aimlessly on the swivel stool until she was nauseous.
"Hey, Pope!" Heyward called by the entrance of the store. "Someone here to see you."
Deputy Shoupe walked in behind Heyward, putting all the teens on high alert.
"Evening, officer," Pope greeted nervously.
"I have an arrest warrant for felony destruction of property. Keep your hands on the counter where I can see 'em."
"Shoupe, what'd he do?" Heyward asked.
Wyatt stood in alarm, joining Kie's side behind Pope and the Deputy.
"Look at the warrant," Shoupe responded.
"I'm sorry, you're arresting him?" Kie asked incredulously.
"Hey, wait, how do you know it was him?" Wyatt asked, worried for her friend. It wasn't his fault.
"You're just arresting my boy?" Heyward shook his head as Kie yelled at Shoupe to be careful. "Shoupe, are you listening?"
"Just hold on for a minute!" Wyatt pleaded, but Shoupe ignored her, reciting to Pope his Miranda rights.
"How much did they pay you, man?" JJ asked angrily.
