𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲||𝗬𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝘅 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿

Chapter Two~ introductions

The second and third periods came and went with no new surprises. (Y/n) almost wished Tobias was there. She may not trust him, but he was as erratic as they come. At least he would surely entertain her. 

The fourth period, however, debuted with the entrance of a second, new student. This one was a boy with blonde hair and grey eyes, who glowed with happiness as he introduced himself to the class.

"Hey, guys, my name's Leo Madden and I am excited to study in this class with all of you! Let's have a great year, everyone!" With that, he strolled to his seat a row back from (Y/n), directly behind her. He high-fived guys he already seemed to know and threw winks and flirtatious smirks at most of the girls. Soon, all the females in class were a blushing mess. Except for (Y/n). When Leo got to her row and sent her his signature, she merely gave him a blank stare and returned to doodling on the corner of her notebook. Leo halted in surprise, and perhaps some disbelief. He quickly regained his composure and continued to his seat. Who was this girl?

After his introduction, class resumed. The teacher, Mr. Roe, jumped right into the first chapter of physics, spouting words from his mouth that made zero sense to the (h/c) girl. Science still didn't make any sense to her. 

About thirty minutes into his lecture, (Y/n) felt a tap on her shoulder for the second time today, this time coming from behind. She turned to find Leo leaning over his desk with frantic eyes.

"Hey, could you help me, I don't understand a word he's saying", the blonde whispered.

"Wish I could", (Y/n) replied, also whispering, "but you're asking the wrong person. I don't know shit in this class." She sent him a pitying smile, then returned her eyes to the front.

Throughout the class, she would hear muttered curses from behind her and continuous scribbling with a pencil. Assuming Leo was still having difficulty, she was relieved by that fact, knowing that at least she wasn't the only one. Looking around, she saw other students struggling, faces ranging from absolute panic to blank looks of pure shock. This was only the first day of school. 

One student caught her eye, though. He was seated a couple of rows away from her, at the very front of the class. His head was turned toward the teacher with a very alert expression on his face, while his writing hand flashed across the page of his notebook in quick strokes, never stopping for more than a couple seconds at a time. Who was this kid, baby Einstein or something?

He was also an attractive boy, a bluenette with black eyes, thin lips, and a soft jaw. Somehow this combination was, well... cute. 

Wow, he's got it all. Looks and brains.

A balled-up piece of paper suddenly landed on her desk. She paused, then unraveled it to read the message inside.

Yo! You seem like a cool person, could we maybe spend more time together so I can get to know you better? Maybe we can sit together at lunch?
-Leo ;)

She thought for a minute, then, not seeing a good enough excuse why she couldn't, (Y/n) wrote back her reply and tossed it over her head. Not a minute passed before it was passed back to her desk.

(Y/n) did not miss the looks of jealousy thrown at her by a few girls surrounding her desk, who had been watching the note exchange.

Uh oh, so much for a low profile... maybe this wasn't such a great idea~
