𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲||𝗬𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝘅 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿

Chapter 7~ intentions

(Y/n) poked her head out of the girls' locker room, scanning each direction for the boys she hoped to avoid. Seeing no one, she exited cautiously. 

Only physics. Just need to survive one class. She reassured herself with these thoughts but halted as another one surfaced. This one made her panic. 

Leo.

Would he take on the same behavior as Tobias and Brayden had? Could she handle it? 

She had to try. Her academics were too important to her future. She couldn't simply skip class and have it affect her grade. 

(Y/n) spent the walk to her physics classroom in deep thought. She didn't even notice that someone was already in the otherwise empty room until a voice called her over. Her head shot up, eyes focusing on a blonde-haired boy. He looked unusually serious. 

"Hey... can I talk to you?" His fingers fiddled nervously with a pencil as he awaited (Y/n)'s answer.

She froze, unsure. 

Give him the benefit of the doubt... maybe it's just the others acting up.

The (e/c) eyed girl approached him warily. She sat down in her usual seat but rotated her body to face him.

"I ran into Brayden in the halls and he told me what happened to you... I'm sorry, (Y/n)." The look on his face suggested that his apology was sincere. (Y/n) breathed a sigh of relief. 

"Yeah", she said quietly. "Thanks."

"I wanted to propose something to you", Leo resumed. "Let me protect you from the others, (Y/n)."

She looked up, startled. This offer was the last thing she had been expecting. (Y/n) was silent for a minute. 

"I don't need protection, necessarily", she began. "But... if you could keep them away from me, I would greatly appreciate that."

"Them? I thought it was just Tobias?" Leo's tone darkened almost imperceptibly. (Y/n) missed this change in his voice, but caught what the question implied.

Brayden only told on Tobias? She mentally scoffed, her disdain returning. Of course. I'm stupid, why would I think he would expose himself? Oh, I don't know, maybe there was a part of me that hoped he would feel some fucking shame for his actions!

"Yeah, so I guess Brayden didn't tell you the part where he was fucking harassing me as well." (Y/n)'s eyes shone bright with sparks of fury and indignation.  

What the- she looks kinda cute when she's angry~ hmmm~ no, stop, can't get distracted when I'm this close! Leo refocused on the current situation.

"Okay, here's the deal. I will protect them from you... on two conditions." His grey eyes became alight with mischief. "Number one, you are not allowed to talk to them and, number two, you can only hang out with me."

(Y/n) gaped at his ridiculous conditions, about to protest them, especially the second one, but halted as a thought occurred to her. 

This is probably the best deal I'm gonna get. She sighed in frustration. Fine, I'll deal with his stupidity if it gets me away from Tobias and Brayden. Though... what about Mason? And... Ray? (Y/n) paused as she remembered her study session with Ray. It hadn't been... awful. She had glimpsed a hidden side of Ray during their time together. (Y/n) wasn't quite sure, but she thought they could potentially get along. As soon as I drag that side out of him again.

The day after (Y/n) got in trouble with her uptight English teacher, she dreaded her study session throughout the first half of the day. When lunch hour came, she groaned and headed to the empty English classroom.
