Tobias arrived about an hour later, surprised and elated to find (Y/n) inside his house. Leo followed soon after but had a slightly different reaction than the redhead. Of course, he was also shocked at the presence of the (e/c) eyed girl, however, rather than joining her, as Tobias had done, he rushed upstairs to his room without a word. (Y/n) noticed this behavior and watched his retreating back, feeling guilty. She didn't have enough to time to process this, though, as Ray's avatar came at her with the intention of a close combat battle.
The four boys sat around her, three cheering for her victory, one swearing violently at the screen. The match ended in her defeat, Ray gloating endlessly, Tobias teasing her lightly, and both Brayden and Mason giving her sympathy. In her state, all (Y/n) could do was stick her tongue out at the ravenette, who crawled over lightning fast and hit her lower jaw, causing her to bite her tongue.
"Owwwww", (Y/n) howled in pain. Tobias jumped on Ray to avenge her, while Brayden offered more ice for her tongue, and Mason worried about her like a harried mother hen.
"Hey, it's about five o'clock, why don't we order food", Brayden suggested. This put a halt to Tobias and Ray's wrestling as they heard the mention of food.
"What would you like, (Y/n)", Mason questioned. The others turned to her expectantly.
"Hmmm, pizza would be good. {Favorite pizza} for me please!"
"Okay, I'll order it." Brayden walked out of the room to make the call, leaving the others to lounge around in waiting.
"Where's Leo", Tobias asked suddenly.
"I saw him going upstairs", Ray answered. "He's probably sulking about something."
"I'm gonna go check up on him." (Y/n) made to stand up, but was quickly pushed back and assaulted with reasons why she shouldn't go. "I'm FINE! I'll just be a sec, Jesus."
Despite their attempts, she tramped up the stairs and looked around for Leo's room. She figured it must be the one that had the door closed since all the others were wide open. (Y/n) knocked, waiting for a response. When there was none, she entered to find Leo curled up on his bed, headphones on and staring at his computer screen.
He caught her in his peripheral vision and his head shot up. Leo paused whatever he was watching in anticipation of her saying something. His eyes looked hurt and he stayed silent. (Y/n) would have to be the one to initiate conversation.
"Um, hey..."
Nothing.
"Look, I'm really sorry about... er- ditching you at lunch... I shouldn't have done that, I just- well, it doesn't matter now. We're ordering pizza, do you want to come downstairs and eat with us?" She smiled slightly, hoping he would accept both her invitation and her apology.
"No." He resumed his video and went back to staring at it, acting like she wasn't in his room. The girl began to get annoyed at his lack of recognition of her.
"I said I was sorry, Leo!"
There was no response. She thought for a moment.
"What're you watching", she asked, sitting next to him. He inched away, but she leaned so that her head was practically next to his.
"Movie", he mumbled.
"What movie", she persisted. He glanced at her.
"... Home alone."
"Why?" She grinned at his answer.
"Cause it's my comfort movie."
"Wow, I think that's the longest sentence I've gotten out of you so far. Now tell me why you're being so quiet."
