I didn't go to school Friday since I was hungover. The worst part of the whole thing is I don't remember how I got to Zach's place.

I just woke up in someone's room and there was a trash can next to me luckily before I threw up.

I passed out again after that and woke up around noon with a killer headache.

I looked around the overall messy room and notice a pill with a glass of water on the counter.

There's a single little note saying 'drink it' and Zach's name with a smiley face.

Zach?

Well, thank god I didn't just leave with some douche and sleep with him or something.

I take the pill and drink it.

I sit up and look around. I start to notice little things of Zach's that he had in his room and I start to instantly feel better. I mean that letter could've been a lie and I could've totally just been poisoned and yet I drank it.

I walk out with a sour face the whole time over the throbbing headache I have.

The place was small. Only this room and a restroom. By the looks of it. Even though the other room was closed I assumed it was a restroom since the only other way this hall led was down the living room.

I walked in and almost had a heart attack when I saw some random guy eating in the kitchen.

He's just staring at me awkwardly as he munches on his breakfast.

"Hi.." I say nervously.

"Sup," he says mid-chew before looking down and taking a bite of his breakfast sandwich thing.

"Uh- wh-who are you?"

"Patrick," he says nonchalantly as he finished his sandwich.

"Ah," I nod slowly looking back around the place.

It's not exactly the cleanest but it's cleaner around here than Zach's room back there. He's just very unorganized. Which I find odd since he would always be cleaning back at home. I guess without my mom he saw it as an opportunity to just say 'fuck it'.

"You're uh-the sister..right?" He asks chewing.

The sister?

I know damn well Zach has mentioned my name before.

I pull a forced smile.

"Yeah. The sister."

He just nods slowly and takes the last bite, finally.

"Well, Zach should be back in a bit."

Where'd he go?" I ask curiously.

It's noon so he shouldn't be at work yet.

"Just to pick up food. It's his turn today," he says with a smile.

I nod and start to turn around when he speaks again.

"There are eggs and pancakes if you want some," he offers.

I look at him and back at the food.

I want to say no but I'm sure Zach told him to make me food, knowing Zach, and I don't want him getting mad at me for not eating.

"Okay, thanks," I say walking over.

"No problem," he goes cleaning up as I serve myself food.

Or he's just nice..

I end up eating at the table alone. Silently as Patrick starts to clean up around the house.

Once I was finishing I heard a car pull up out front and I rushed to the kitchen window to see Zach's car.
