Greed

I was used to Jungkook waking throughout the night, to his unusual sleeping habits where he slept for a few hours in the night and refreshed with naps during the day. Taehyung and I weren't prepared to take on such a schedule during vacation.

He woke me with the softest whispers in my ear, his hands grazing over my waist and hips until my eyes fluttered open. "It's too early." I groaned through a voice thick with sleep.

"There's a lot to do today," he shushed me, "but I woke you up for a quick shower." The way he pressed up against me let me know that he wanted more than to wash.

Taehyung stood at the end of the bed, dangling three necklaces off his fingertips. He was still half asleep, but knew Jungkook would be ready for the day. He rubbed at the back of his neck, his mouth puffy after waking and golden hair full of fluff.

We started off with breakfast at a restaurant where the patio overlooked the ocean. I made them sit across from me at the table, letting their faces frame the sides of my view for a perfect sight. After a few hours of laying on a towel by the seashore, watching them splash each other in the shallow water and join a few other guys kicking around a soccer ball, we walked to another spot for lunch.

Jungkook tapped out of our post-lunch shopping spree after carrying six bags for over an hour, declaring that if we didn't stop there'd be an extra checked bag at the airport. When I found him for the third time, having escaped our leisurely browsing for the truck that served gelato next to the sidewalk, I stayed with him. I badgered him into sharing the tiramisu flavored treat, his mouth turning into a pout when I took an extra large spoonful as the final bite rather than splitting it with him. He snagged the bite at the last second, nearly chomping into my fingertips and ending up with a brain freeze.

"Carry me back." Taehyung whined, draping his arms over Jungkook's shoulders and dragging his feet. We only had a few blocks left before reaching the hotel and I snapped pictures of them, Taehyung with his arms and legs wrapped around Jungkook's back while he carried him and most of our bags the rest of the distance in a show of strength that he only took on when I bet against it.

We washed up and then napped together, squeezing in an hour and a half of rest before the evening. I woke up before them, climbing over Taehyung who groaned and mumbled under my weight, reaching out to run his hands over my thighs as they crossed him.

I took my time getting ready for dinner, balancing out the sun's tint of redness on my cheeks from laying in the sun and brushing a peachy hue onto my lips. Jungkook was in before it even had a chance to fully set, kissing and sucking until there was little color left behind.

They dressed in patterned button-ups that were so thin I could practically see through them. I was torn between making them button to their necks and pulling apart every stud.

It was still too early for dinner so we ventured into Castelmola, just north of where we lodged and the home of a bar that had me flushed before we found our seats. Bar Turrisi was known for its quirky ambiance, every piece of decor, lamps and centerpieces on the tables, and drink glasses all shaped like penises.

Jungkook and Taehyung were already holding back giggles and I could only imagine the boyish jokes running through their minds. I looked back and forth between them sternly with my request. "Don't embarrass me."

They did anyway, deciding to wander the bar to identify the piece most comparable to theirs and chugging their drinks in a competition where they used no hands. On an empty stomach I was easily tipsied, leaning on them heavier when we closed out our tab for the short walk to dinner.

"Behave." Jungkook smiled against my hair, serious as we needed to convey that we weren't too drunk to dine civilly. Taehyung and I supported each other by the waist, muttering in my ear that he couldn't bear another moment without food.

Thankfully we ended up at one of those restaurants that supply you with fresh, hot bread before you can be fully seated. Taehyung and I had each grabbed a roll, shoving the buttery goodness into our mouths while the hostess took our drink order from Jungkook. We spent the first part of dinner in a debate over the three menu items that sounded best for us to share. With a small area by the bar reserved for couples to dance, the light a little lower and soft instrumentals playing in the background, I knew it wouldn't take Taehyung long to reach for my hand.

He led us to a spot closer to the wall in case we needed it to lean on, slipping his hand around the small of my back. We danced close together and sloppier than normal, my balance kept in the arm I wrapped around his shoulders.

Taehyung was always one to put weight into words. He felt most satisfied when people complimented him or expressed their connection verbally, the reason why his questions never surprised me and I never hesitated to tell him how I felt.

"Why do you like me?" He hummed into my ear, pulling away so that he could look into my eyes while I answered.

I pondered my response behind a few filler sounds, saying the words as easy as breathing. "I've never felt comfortable like this before. I feel like I could tell you anything and it wouldn't change the way you felt about me." I gnawed at my bottom lip. "And I more than like you, Tae." I giggled, stating the obvious.

His cheeks rose and eyes squinted together in the cute way that always came when he was praised. I was attuned to the warmth of his hands at my waist, fingers curling over my hips.

We were enticed by the opening and closing of the doors that led to the kitchen, sure that our food would come soon. Taehyung leaned into me, puckering his lips against my cheek until our table came back into view, a woman sitting across from Jungkook with a flirty gleam in her eye. She pressed her elbows onto the tabletop, her posture forward while Jungkook sat as far away as his fixed seat would allow.

She glanced at Taehyung and I as we approached, a hopeful twinge to her smile. Taehyung scooted into the chair next to her while I moved in as close to Jungkook as possible, looking at him and nodding across the table. "You make friends quickly." I chided, taking a sip of the cocktail he ordered.

"I was just telling Elizabeth that you were on your way back." He replied, snaking a hand around my waist. Elizabeth looked over to Taehyung who's lips pursed against his straw in a suspicious manner.

"This is your girlfriend." She rolled her eyes with disbelief after seeing Taehyung's lips attached to me less than a minute ago.

I pressed myself closer to him so that she got the point with my reply. "I am."

Her brow pulled together in a frown as she looked between the three of us, surely noticing the peachy lip print I left behind on Taehyung's neck and the way they eyed me. She grabbed her drink, muttering in annoyance and standing, two words clearer as she walked away. "Greedy bitch."

Jungkook's grip tightened around me like he expected that I'd go after her, Taehyung setting his drink down on the table harshly. When I started to giggle he paused, his lips set tightly as he held back his anger.

"Why are you laughing? Didn't you hear what she called you?" Jungkook looked past me to keep an eye on the girl as she retook her place at the bar with her friends.

I couldn't stop it, laughter bubbling out of me carelessly and stunting my response. "She is kind of right. It is a bit greedy to get both of you." I laughed, apologizing when I was unable to stop. "Sorry, it's just funny that I don't care. I don't know if I'm too drunk or too happy but she could call me anything right now as long as she doesn't call my men."

Greed came in many forms that night, in the meal with shared and dessert after. It even followed me back to the hotel room, where I indulged my greed for them every chance we had left on our little Sicilian getaway.
