The bedtime tea Taehyung insisted would help me rest better did a bigger job than I expected. I woke in the same position I'd fallen asleep in, my blankets unruffled as if I hadn't moved at all through the night. I made my way around the bathroom by memory, groggy until I'd washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I stayed in my pajamas, my slippers scuffing against the floor as I moved up the hallway. Taehyung looked up from laying a final stack of sliced fruit on a tray with a smile, his hair bushy and still dressed in nightclothes.

"Good morning." He beamed, glancing toward the clock over the stove. "Well rather good afternoon." He modified with a chuckle.

"You should sell that tea to people with insomnia." My cheeks pinched at the sour grape I popped into my mouth.

He chopped strawberries in half, placing them so that the tray was full and moving it over to the coffee table. "That's why I drink it." He wore a satisfied grin, patting the spot on the couch next to him. "So, are you ready for our movie day?"

We stretched out on the couch through three romantic comedies, the day convincing me that snuggling against Taehyung was the only stress reliever I needed. We ate every piece of fruit and barely moved from the couch until the door clicked open just as we finished wiping our tears at the end of About Time, Jungkook walking in sideways with a giant painting of a white cat balanced on his fingers.

The deep scowl on the feline's face led Taehyung and I from tears into laughter, Jungkook mocking our cackles as he shuffled to the balcony, setting the piece outside to dry.

"Laugh all you want but Mr. Nibblesworth over there will be paying rent this month." He smiled proudly, his hands on his hips like he'd saved the day.

With night approaching we had a quick meal, separating to get ready and taking turns in the bathroom. I started with picking through my clothes, tossing every item that didn't feel good enough onto the bed in frustration with the thought that I should have skipped the last movie to go shopping.

In the corner of my closet hung an all black catsuit Faye bought against my will. She thought it was perfect when I tried it on as a joke, but the skin tight fabric and cutouts on the side made me conscious of the few parts of my body I wasn't fully confident in.

With it as the only option I decided to try it on after my shower, my freshly blow dried hair full and fluffy around my shoulders.

I turned around, liking the curve of my butt, but pinched at the fat where my stomach and hips met. I was reaching around to the zipper to undress and start from scratch when my door opened, Taehyung in the middle of a sentence as he stepped into my room.

"Jungkook says things will really start in another hour so we—" He paused and cut himself off, clearing his throat as he looked up at me through the mirror. "I should work on knocking first, but that looks—that's the one."

"I'm not wearing this." I pulled my hair to one side of my neck, ready to request his help with the zipper.

He put his hands in his pockets, looking at me with wide eyes. "I will get on my knees and beg you to wear this if I have to." He pressed.

I giggled, shaking a hand to stop him when he started to bend at the knees. I rolled my eyes at his drama, turning back to the mirror one more time before deciding that looking in it for too long would fuel the problem.

"Fine, if you let me put eyeliner on you." I agreed, walking past him to the bathroom with him scurrying behind.

Taehyung held onto my hand as we walked the four blocks to the address Jungkook sent, the amount of people on the sidewalk thickening with every corner we turned. We fell into the back of a line outside an abandoned building where a bass blared from the blacked out windows.
