Old Friends {Sting x Reader AU}

You got up and started getting ready for your first day of school. You weren't too nervous, because you knew you'd already have a group of people to hang out with. Sting, Rogue, Minerva, Rufus, Orga and Yukino. But that was outside of school, hopefully in school they would be accepting as well.

You left the house and locked the door, since your mom had left for work earlier that morning. You had your uniform on and held a few books to your chest. You held your head up high as you walked to school, not really paying any mind to anything around you. You made sure you had your confidence all the way up to max. Showing a bit of confidence could do many positive things for you.

Soon enough you would be at the school and would have no trouble walking in. You looked around and everyone was talking to one another. You didn't see Sting, or anyone you recognized, so you just decided to find your locker. It was further down the hall towards where the science labs were. Once you found it, you opened it and started to unload some of your things. You felt comfortable, believe it or not. You weren't worried at all. But then you closed your locker.

You closed your locker and there was a girl with blue hair that was pulled into pigtails. She stared at you with wide eyes.

"Ah!" You screamed in surprise, not catching the attention of anyone since it was already pretty loud.

"Juvia has never seen you before." The girl stated. You assumed her name was Juvia, and found it a bit weird that she referred to herself in the third person, but you weren't going to say that out loud.

"I'm new." You simply stated. "I'm Y/n L/n."

"Juvia Lockser." She introduced herself.

"It's nice to meet you, Juvia."

"You as well."

"So, what is the school like?" You asked her.

"Hmm... Juvia thinks it's a good school. But only because of her beloved Gray!" She announced.

"Oh, you have a boyfriend?" You smiled.

"Well... no." She admitted, but then her eyes gleamed, obviously seeing something she liked in the distance. "Gray!"

"Aw, dammit!" You would hear a male's voice yell, and then hear running. Juvia would run past you, chasing after a black haired boy. You stared dumbfounded and confused about what had happened, when you felt a presence join next to you.

"I see you've met Juvia. Hi, I'm Lucy! You're new here?" She had medium length blonde hair and brown eyes. She smiled at you, and you smiled back at her.

"Yes, I'm new. I'm Y/n."

"It's nice to meet you! Do you know where your classes are?" She asked.

"Oh, no." You laughed a bit. "Not at all."

"If you want I can show you around! And introduce you to some people."

"That would be great." You nodded. She smiled and then started to lead the way, and you walked with her.

She would point out the English hallway, Math hallway, and all the other boring subjects that one had to take. "Oh, that's Natsu." She smiled a bit. "My boyfriend."

The boy with the pink hair would be talking to a few people, but would turn around when he heard his name. He instantly smiled when he saw Lucy, and came running.

"Lucy!" He called, waving as he came up to the both of you. He would hug her, and then keep an arm around her shoulders.

"Natsu, this is Y/n." She introduced you.

"Hey Y/n!" He said cheerfully.

"Hello." You smiled.

"And over in that group is Gray, Erza, and Wendy. Wendy is a few years younger than us. But she was moved up a few grades because she was so smart!" Lucy boasted. "Would you like to meet them? I promise they're nice."
